Agreed. Time to start announcing some quality new signings to counterbalance the loss of high calibre players..

For me, he was the best player at the club, and unlike Dan Wishart , he gave everything and didnt feel sorry for himself after his move upwards didn't work out.

I fully expect Ayunga to be one of Havants 4 signings tomorrow (otherwise there was no reason to announce that today) and if so then Matt and Dos have made an agreement to let him go for free.
Roarie signing there based on what we know from the club will throw up all sorts of questions however.

Would Roarie drop down to the National South though? I'd of thought maybe a League Two club would be more likely.

I expect there to have been a nominal fee for Jonah. Not sure if Roarie has been fit since returning and if he wanted more than we could afford then best he moves on. Since returning he hasn't set the world on fire.

You get that sometimes though at clubs. The second spell being not as magical as the first. Some exceptions to that particular rule but that's what it usually turns out like.

Since returning he hasn't set the world on fire. Hard to set the world on fire as a right winger when you’re having to play at left back. Dude is a proper professional and sacrificed himself for the team.

Since returning he hasn't set the world on fire. Didn't help that he was forced into playing at full back. Nobody set the world on fire in the 2nd half of the season but for me he gave his all

It was always clear to me that we were a stop gap for Roarie until something better came up. Not sure Havant is better.

Players always knew if they tried hard and played well , the club wouldn't stand in the way if and when a better offer came along. With a club like Sutton with limited resources, that seemed to suit everyone and made it even more of an achievement how we have done so well with a constantly changing squad. I'm not on board with this Deacon bashing, I personally can't fault the guy in either of his spells here

His sterling performances were absolutely pivotal in our incredible cup run, and his away goal against AFC Wimbledon will live long in the memory. Our new manager clearly impressed the board with his vision for the club. Now is the time to impress with new signings capable of replacing what we have lost..
