Away to SCR won’t help attendance, goes from a game available on season ticket to all pay It will still probably be their highest crowd of the season ha ha! I hope we collect the bar/food taking that night!

Some interesting games there, although it would be nice to face some higher league opposition

I would like to see how we compare to the likes of SCR and Redhill though. Tonbridge Angels will be good, I think they have just been promoted to NLS under Steve McKimm. Could some of our players be going there??

We will be the away team, so the ticketing strategy will be down to SCR, but we are at home to a Chelsea side the next day so expect our Friday team to be largely a development squad.

Its strange that the Chelsea first team squad recently played an exhibition match in the states and insisted that it was played on a grass surface rather than a 3G. They then send their U23 side to play at a ground with a 3G.

Are we doing any groundwork on the pavillion which impacts on our ability to stage a home game for those dates ? Kbb It seems like any work won't impact on SCR's ability to stage home games on those dates. Their friendlies are as follows: 28/6 H v @tonbridgeangels 19:45ko 6/7 H v @arundelfc 15:00ko 13/7 H v @newhavenfc 15:00ko 15/7 H v @corinthiancas 19:45ko 20/7 A v @eastprestonfc 15:00ko 22/7 H v @official_FGFC 19:45ko 26/7 H Banjo XI 19:45ko

More to the point would a pavillion there impact upon any future ground improvements on that side ?

I would off thought not, because I remember Dos saying that if we went up ,we would build a stand where the current stand is, so I don’t see a problem with the pavilion being built in that part of the ground.

Well probably yes but now i'm wondering if the club have a blueprint of how they would like the ground developed in future years. Perhaps not the right thread for this and deserves its own sometime.
