Not sure what to expect from Solihull this evening as they certainly haven't lived up to their early season expectations.
Recent form has produced wins against lowly opposition so just maybe we can come away with a point or 3 !
If Dale Bennett is back & starting then we have to find a spot for Eastmond in midfield but i'm guessing just the one up front with three in midfield, at least to start with.

Solihull's big summer signing was Paul McCallum, who scored a lot of goals for Eastleigh last season. But I understand that he's been out injured, which may help to explain Moors' slow start to this season. They do still have Danny Wright as a useful target man.
No recommended pub for this game: the one I would recommend is closed on Tuesdays - and, frankly, there's not a lot else.🙁

The pub in question (Pup & Duckling) is a micro-pub. Micro-pubs tend to have restricted opening hours, partly because they're usually run by just one or two individuals and partly because they may not get much custom at quiet times of the week.
On to the football...

It (Solihull) doesn't have much to recommend it as an awayday. Christ, if that's what Brummies call a posh area I'd hate to see the rest. Actually, I have seen the rest, so I see why they do. A lot of Birmingham looks like no one bothered to clear up when the Luftwaffe had finished with it.

Same old - We can't get out from the back, if we do we can be a threat, but this has to be sorted. We can't go long against a side that lap up the high ball. We got to get the ball out to the flanks.

2-0 now. Listened to the commentary for about two minutes. Bennett on for Ajiboye so chasing the game at 1-0 and then concede a penalty. Does anyone know if we have had a shot on target yet?

2-0 down. One shot on target so bring Dundas on in 85th minute to rescue points - really!

We need to get a centre forward in on loan if Bugiel isn't fit soon . Young lad like Jarvis doesn't win much against National league defenders at present but not for lack of trying. That's now 4 consecutive games without scoring . At one time tonight we were in a relegation spot and that really isn't good enough.

6 points from the last 9 games speaks for itself. Didn't expect us to win tonight but it is the performances that continue to be uninspiring.

We were chasing the game after 19mins, we got pegged back put under pressure until pressure until we conceded - this is now a reoccurring theme. I can't see what good any striker is going to be in that situation? We need a player in front of the back 4 to play out too. I remember season 2003/04, we had a similar problem bought in Tobo Jinadu, and like magic it was solved over night, I think we lost 1 match between Boxing day and the end of the season.
