Well, tough away game, I will be happy with a point and a goal!

Much too soon to be talking about 'must win' games, but this does look like a pivotal match. Both sides are in poor form and badly in need of three points. A draw would be of little use to either.
Fylde have scored one goal and conceded seven in their last two home games. We've scored no goals and conceded four in our last two away games. So not an easy one to call. I'd suggest that the old adage 'fortune favours the bold' might apply.
My recommended pub is the Stanley Arms in Wesham (8 Garstang Road South PR4 3BL), a street-corner local just off the main road from Kirkham & Wesham station to the ground. Nothing fancy here, but it's comfortable and serves good value lunches and three or four real ales.

May not be a 6 pointer but the result will have a big impact on confidence for players and supporters going into the game against Billericay. I foresee a substantial drop in attendance at an all pay fixture if we get nothing from the game tomorrow.

Personally I would rather we have a decent run in the league than a cup run this season.

Personally I would rather we have a decent run in the league than a cup run this season. I know what you mean, but a Cup run can provide much-needed extra revenue. I believe that the club budgets to go out in the first round, so an exit in the 4th qualifying round could lead to some unwelcome belt-tightening. Our next two results will go a long way to defining our season.

Personally I would rather we have a decent run in the league than a cup run this season. I agree , maintaining our status in the league is far more important than a cup run . That said it should not be beyond us to achieve both . The extra money from a second or third round exit would be most helpful in boosting our squad for what looks like being a long hard season . if we were to loose both matches I think it would cast further doubts about the manager , but let’s hope it does not get to that.

This will be my first game of the season, hoping to bring the team some much needed luck, and hopefully a goal or two, probably be one up front, hoping we are bold and go with Jarvis and Wright and give it a go against another team low on confidence, and leaking goals

Two teams who last season played out two competitive draws.
We’ve played well @mill Farm the last couple of seasons.
IMO - 17 games after today and the table starts taking shape and with the cup on the horizon it would be great to go into that competition with 3 points.
Looking forward to this afternoon.

Team delayed at Euston. Game in doubt.

Game now called off, so won't be seeing my first game of the season now. Safe journey home to those who ventured north, Blackpool are at home if anyone fancies actually watching a game.
