I think Ebbsfleet will be disappointed on Saturday if they come away with less than 3 points bearing in mind our current form.

I thought I'd crawl out of the woodwork to say there might be cause for concern.

How will the post match interview turn out I wonder. Seems like Billericay have some goal scorers.

Three points on Saturday or I'm afraid I'll be joining the Gray out brigade. Being trounced by a fairly average looking side from the league below is simply not good enough, I defended Matt after Saturdays showing but there arent any excuses that will wash here.
The players let him down on Saturday but he's clearly not been able to get them up for this game and that is more worrying than any individual result

I said at the start of the season that this was a bad choice of manager and sadly I have been proved correct. Get an experienced man in and don't leave it until a miracle is needed to stay up.

Looking on the bright side at least our goal drought is over 😂😂
I was teetering on my continued support for our manager And had thought with two home games coming up he should be given more time . But , conceding five against lower opposition is just too much for me . We need a new manager and NOW . TAXI FOR MATT GRAY please .
Before anybody says it is a board and not a fan decision I fully except that but surely even they have had enough now ?

It's not good enough tonight but Matt should be given the next two home games to turn it around. We've lost a bit of prize money and a lot of face but ultimately the league is far more important this season. Minimum of 3 points and two committed displays from the lads or it has to be time to get someone in who can keep us up, with plenty of time to do it. The squad is too good for where we are at today.

I'm not necessarily saying that Matt should be sacked, but from a psychological standpoint, now would actually be a good time (or at least a better time than later on in the season). With a home game against the bottom club Ebbsfleet next up, and with, let’s say, Micky Stephens (a respected legend with managerial experience) and/or Jason Goodliffe installed in a caretaker capacity, the odds would favour the start of a productive “honeymoon period” and a return of the feel-good factor. But, I stress, I’m not actually nailing my colours to that particular mast - I'm just offering something a bit more thoughtful than the standard knee-jerk reaction.

Would there not be locker room rumours flying around if the team was really dissatisfied with Matt?
Quite often anonymous sources start to crop up if the players are unhappy.
