Personally I would favour Carshalton at home if we get past tomorrow night . A local home derby and a great chance to get on of the big boys in the Third Round
I used to just love the Christmas fixtures against our close neighbours , but only if we won !

What a stinker of a draw but at least i might get to try this vegan cuisine. And at least I now don't really care so much if we lose tomorrow

Still hope we win tomorrow ...... the money would be good even if the draw is not good for the next round. Arsenal .... here we come !

Oh I care that we win tomorrow. I care very much. A wedge of much needed dosh is up for grabs. Plus half the gate of the next round.
That more than anything outweighs any thoughts of who we have draw against.

Maybe the Gods will smile on us again for our away performances for this year’s competition in the early rounds.

100% agree . A win is a win and would be a great boost for those on and off the pitch .

Someone remind me, what happened the last time we played Forest Green in the Cup?

I said care so much, I did not say not at all did I? Jeez you're all such better fans than me. It's a shite draw, my point is that it somewhat eases any pain should we lose tomorrow does it not? Or are you all relishing a trip into the middle of nowhere?

Or are you all relishing a trip into the middle of nowhere? No. I'm relishing the prospect of having a possible extra 12k to help us strengthen our squad. The trip "to the middle of nowhere" is less important.

The fact it's a crumby draw means nothing. The prize money alone is worth the win, but winning at FGR isn't impossible so there's literally no reason for accepting a lame defeat tonight, and a defeat does nothing for moral.
