I don't need to know what went wrong. I want to know what Matt will do to put it right.

Would do if I could get there but due to work commitments I cannot. Would you ask on my behalf?

Ask him tomorrow night in person. surely someone doesn’t need to ask that question? .. it’s all I am interested in hearing as things stand.

Not commented on last nights match, but can I ask some on here to show a little bit of respect for Matt. He is a young manager who should be getting our support to turn things around. If there are issues with his appointment that should be to the board, it was their decision.
To step into Dos's boots after the 10yrs he had with us, was never going to be easy even for the most experienced manager. It wss clear to me at the start of the season and I even made a number of posts, saying that, Matt was not a Dos, he is not a showman or chorus leader, he desperately needed the club itself to show the mojo had not simply disappeared down the A3. The club returning to its ideals of pre- 2008 was never a option for me, and I feel that Matt may merely be the scapegoat.
Please support Matt, get behind him and the players, and lets actually believe we can turn things around.
Lots of things need to change post Dos, I am not sure simply changing a young manager is the answer..

So, that's two on here criticising but can't make it. For the record I won't be there to ask for you but then I don't ask questions for others.
I'm not the one on here criticising. If I need to ask anything I ask him in person and don't require a q&a to do so.
And just in case anyone asks I'm not going as I live on the south coast and going to all home and away matches is enough travelling for me.

Stopped watching after 45 seconds as I'd seen enough. I've really enjoyed Matt's interviews by and large but that was not the same man.
Clearly he could not get past Saturdays injustices and that attitude of 'why are we here playing a replay we should not be playing' (which we all felt) has permeated through to the players.
Seemingly still hung up on Saturdays game, failed to motivate the squad and the first 45 seconds of that interview has moved me from the give him more time camp to the time to move on camp.
Matt looked utterly defeated and I've now lost faith, anyone with a vague understanding of psychology or body language can see it's a long way back now.

Er no didn’t say that Mark ..but would like to hear something a bit more encouraging about the way forward than what I am hearing in interviews. If the way forward out of our current situation isn’t discussed at all I’d question the point of the evening going ahead.

I've yet to hear a convincing argument for changing the manager 16 matches into the season. Only 6 defeats and without an experienced target man for most of those games. Personally i feel he needs more time to develop the style of play but if he can't reverse our bad form by the turn of the year then we need to look elsewhere. Looking at recent games i can see an improvement. Should have won on Saturday but playing away last night on that sticky sloping pitch gave Billericay a massive advantage. Also we didn't do ourselves any favours with the free kicks we gave away.

I have never said change the Manager but we need to change something as our set up is not working. We set up the same for every game so as an opposing manager you know what to expect. Not only that but that we will stick to that throughout the whole game.

Not only that but that we will stick to that throughout the whole game. I think something may have changed, but need to see next 2 matches against National Lge opposition. I have been saying we can't get out, we get pinned back and up until Saturday we were not testing keepers. That has changed in that Julian was MOTM on both occasions and we created more chances in 2 matches then we did in the previous 6. I would like to see Tommy more central, ans see if we can't start banging them in??

Did anyone watch the same interview I did? Negative, despondent and blaming anyone but the management. I find it hard to back him after that and I can't see anything other than a continued slide. Matt's motivational ability is seriously in question now along with his tactical nous and contacts to bring in any decent loan signings. I seriously hope I'm proven wrong over the next two games but that interview was a horrorshow in negativity
