After all the excitement this week one way or another we have the daunting prospect of playing Ebbsfleet at home. Anything less than 3 points and the blame game will start again. Matt said there was so little difference between top and bottom in this league and i tend to agree. Ebbsfleet just knocked Woking out the FA Cup on Woking's ground so this game is going to be as difficult if not more than Halifax on Tuesday.
Get behind the team and give them a lift as we don't want to slip into the bottom 4 !

Get behind the team and give them a lift as we don't want to slip into the bottom 4 ! To be fair both those teams have the worst current form in the league - they've both only managed 3 points in their last 6 games, so that result wasn't as surprising as their league positions indicate. And with our current form too, every game is going to be difficult, regardless of the opponents. We're the 2nd lowest scorers in the league (with 16 goals in 16 games) - only Chorley have scored less. With a quarter of our total league goals coming in just 1 of those 16 games, and not scoring in the league since then, we know what our first target is on Saturday. Ebbsfleet have lost 4 on the spin now, but I think it's the first league game for their new interim manager, Kevin Watson.

We created around a dozen goalscoring opportunities in our last two home games, which is encouraging, but only converted one into an actual goal. Really need to improve that rate tomorrow.

Now firmly planted in the bottom four , two points adrift . At the risk of sounding pessimistic about our future , I would say realistic , will the gate rices be much reduced in the Conference South next season ?

Silly foul by your guy at the end - ball was going out anyway. Thought you played some decent football, but missed 2 or 3 decent chances.

I think chesterfield and Wrexham have the resources to pull away, which means imo we're 1 of 5/6 to go down

Being "firmly planted" and being 2 points a drift is a contradiction. And you're talking about entrance prices for next season? Are you for real? It's where we sit after 46 games of the season rather than after 17 that matters. Otherwise we may as well end the league now. That what you want?

The time to worry is if we are in the same position come Christmas, the way the lads played today was I thought quite the best lately and there were some cracking goals scored today. And don’t blame the manager for the defeat, sh-t happens🤷🏼♂️ And it definitely ain’t his fault today.
