Is it me or is there something wrong with this link ? The opening frame is showing MG smiling . We have just lost AGAIN and he is smiling . A look of perplection would surely have been more appropriate methinks !

Injuries, niggles and the banned word. That's pretty much the make up of Matt's interviews over the last few months.
I get impression he isn't in a rush to bring back Kearney, Lema or Pearce from their loans but knows he may have to.

With regards to Kearney, this is what the official Harrow Borough reports (who to be fair probably say things that official reports shouldn't) have been saying about his last 2 appearances.
"Sadly Kearney seemed again to lack that ‘special something’ of last season, illustrated when Moore made a great run forward and presented him with a sight of goal. A year ago, there would have been an instant shot; this year, he failed to get his strike away. Everyone - especially those who are funding his loan! - wants him to do well, but it’s just not happened so far. "
"O’Connor was on for Kearney, disappointing once again. His move to Sutton might have taken a few pounds off his weight but, although he continues to work hard, it also seems to have shed him of that sparkle and fizz that lit up The Rogers Family Stadium last season. It would have been unimaginable a month ago that the club wouldn’t want to try to extend his loan, but one suspects that is now a serious issue for the management to consider."

There's much to be worried about and to criticise the management for but this is ridiculous. I suggest you hunt down whoever did the editing because they clearly have an evil agenda

To be honest mca if I was trying to make the point that there is very little to be smiling about at the moment , either performance or result wise . To my mind if I were MG I would not be seen grinning in front of cameras at the moment . Looking concerned yes . That was the only point I was trying to make .

YouTube automatically picks a frame by the way. I expect SUFCtv didn't pick that one in particular (as is the case for every video they've uploaded)!

Are you suggesting MG asked for the starting still to be one of him smiling. It's meaningless. He could be smiling because he's uncomfortable or anything. It's unfortunate for him that's what people see in that 1 moment but to kind of imply he's having a chuckle at how crap his team are playing isn't fair.

mca , I am not suggesting that MG is having a chuckle about another poor result and I do accept that neither he , nor anybody else , deliberately chose this frame to start the video . All I am saying is that if I were in his position I would not look happy whilst cameras and video equipment are about immediately after a bad result .

No they didn't. They took a sharp left at the wrong time and ended up on Mars. Well, according to Elliot Gould anyway.
