A break from league duties and our survival fight. Dagenham are going through a rough patch at the moment so lets keep our momentum going. Hopefully Craig will be fit enough to start.

You had to jump in before Stewart! If we lose I know who I’m blaming!

Very poor first half a little better in the second, just about deserved to get a replay.

Seemed to lack purpose especially in first half then with 20 to go started to play like Sutton of old, so a draw was a fair outcome but I did think they could have nicked it at the end.

Did we really want to win the game? I think we had 4 shots in total with 2 on target. Will I be spending another £21 on Tuesday? I doubt it.

That really was a dreadful first half of football and only marginally better in the second period.Long balls up to the front players which were just coming straight back as their central defenders had the upper hand. It really needed changing at half time but we had to endure another 15 minutes before a change was made and that was after going 1-0 down.
Another change and we managed to force an equaliser through Bugiel but that was the least he owed us after such an inept performance all afternoon. He really seems to struggle against the giant Dagenham defenders.
There it finished and another visit to Victoria road.I may well give that a miss also.

We continue to play 'wingers' but only one seems able to beat defenders and get crosses in and he didn't start. Why not give Tom B a go (not at right back) at least he has some pace.

I might as well just copy and paste hat I said Tuesday v Fylde :
"In the context of the season its a decent point - but what it did show maybe part of the reason we are needing to crawl our way out of the drop zone. Playing against 10 men for 40 mins we failed to be creative enough and land that killer blow. Full marks to our defensive play which has not looked back since Louis was added.
Just that little bit of edge up front needed.."

Our fans won't exactly be enthralled at the prospect of a second evening trip to Dagenham in the space of three weeks. But a draw was always a likely result, and a fair one on the balance of this afternoon's play.
Daggers had all the first-half corners but we might have had a penalty when Omar was barged over in the area. The ref wasn't interested. They took the lead in the second half when we lost the ball near a corner flag and it was played to Joe Quigley on the edge of the area. We equalised in the 78th minute from what I think was our first corner, Omar pouncing on a short clearance and stabbing home. He needed that goal. Tommy could have won the game in stoppage time when he beat the keeper to the ball but his shot from a tightish angle hit the side-netting.
D&R may think that the advantage has now swung their way, but our away form has been the better this season. And of course we won there last month. What concerns me is that for most of this match we looked to have reverted to our mid-autumn form of decent approach play but with little or nothing to test the opposition keeper. Let's hope that Monday's draw for the next round inspires the performance that we need.

Kings Lynn v Dover was arranged to go to extra time and penalties. Why was this not arranged by the clubs. Did we suggest it? Did Daggers? It could have been done and dusted today and theres no real reason for either club to have said no.
