With the clubs upturn in form over the last couple of months I hope we can fend off admirers from the Football League for our players.
More and more non-league talents seem to be getting snapped up by league clubs nowadays - only yesterday Portsmouth signed Hackett-Fairchild for a record fee from Bromley, Forest Green signed a striker from National North Leamington and Bolton recruited prolific Enfield striker Muhammudu Faal.

All of those players are 22 years old or younger of course. Ajiboye, Randall, Jarvis, Goodliffe all fall into that category. Also the players signed so far are also strikers who have all scored 20+ goals so far this season. None of our players fit into that category.

I could see attention being given to Ajiboye either in the summer or next Jan, certainly. But I think he still falls into the 'work in progress' category at the moment.
Presumably, with Jamie retiring, we could be in the market for another CB? Assuming funds are available.

I’d imagine Collins would have been on a decent wedge here - with that money subsequently being freed up surely we must be able to bring one or two players in? One certainly a centre-half you’d think..

I know we don’t want any of our lads to leave - but isn’t it great that clubs in LG 1 & 2 are searching for talent in NL/S/N instead of abroad.
I might be wrong but a lad who played for Leyton O in our league now is playing for Charlton in the championship.
It’s brilliant.

Would expect Ajiboye, Wright and Goodliffe to be our potentials for a look further up.

Yep, Macauley Bonne - so far scored 8 in18 starts for Charlton and has avoided the injury plague that has swept the Valley this season
