Nice to see a win, excellent finish for the first on the angle on weaker foot. 3rd will be our goal of the season. Did some good stuff, at times we make life difficult for ourselves (how badly did we start the game!). But at least we won and won easily. If we’re more clinical we score 6 at least. Arnold good in goal, big factor in our improvement. Now we’ve got to go and beat someone not as bad as FGR and Accrington away - do that and I might start hoping again. Would set up Easter Monday if we can.

Enjoyed the game today, quite open, some decent play at times and some L2 up and under at times. I told you Accy were vulnerable at the back! With better finishing SU could have had more. A great save by Arnold after about 30 minutes, it could have been different if that had gone in. Lakin has been a superb signing. Did his corner go straight in, it looked like it? Screaming volley for the third, goal of the season contender. Keep going Sutton. Those games in hand for Colchester could be crucial but SU can only look after themselves. Colchester have a game every 3 or 4 days until the end of the season and will hopefully encounter some additional fatigue as a result

Great win today really enjoyed it. Easter games against teams in the bottom six so it has to be an opportunity. Lots of confidence in the team, really good to see. Not sure we will stay up but it's going to be bloody tense if we can stay in the hunt till the last games.

Back to back wins is massive, not just for the points but particularly for a team whose management invest so much into the psychological side of tactics. Imagine what a boost it will be for this side to have the makings of a winning run for the first time.

Good game and decent performance, though the defence is still shaky. But Accrington looked quite decent at times and it was not an easy game. Smith is looking sharp again..
Cast Iron penalty ignored again in the first half with another poor ref (better in the second half). Thankfully we did not live to rue the decision. Cracking finish for third goal.
I dont think the teams above us are poor enough for us to catch them, but glad we are making them sweat.
We need to start winning what ever league we are in. I am also glad to see Steve is putting faith in young players, what ever league we are in next year, I think this will be very important.

A good win of a game littered with defensive mistakes and one great goal. I see Lee Angol has gone out on loan to Woking without a mention on the official website. Onwards to the dirty old town of Salford.

Great result, great goals and hope is alive going into the final 6 games. Simple win them and we stay up, lose 3 and we go down, 4 wins from 6 is doable. Easter is just huge for us, if we do this the 'Great Escape' will look like just popping your head out of the window.

Well, that was refreshing! Stanley aren't great but we've lost to worse. Missed a few sitters but 3 goals are 3 goals. Totally agree that our third will be our goal of the season. What a strike.
It's still very much odds against us surviving, but if we can string another two wins together, who knows?
And just for once; that first half handball was a penalty every day of the week. Even my two visiting neutrals were gob-smacked. Very poor from Ref and (worse from) Rec side lino.

We've not won at home in amber since beating Horsham in the FA Cup on 2 December. A switch to aubergine, and Accrington are purpled in L2. Keep the krazy kit!
Both sides looked defensively fragile in the first half, the difference being the goalkeepers. Steve Arnold again pulled off some fine saves, including one outstanding reflex tip onto the bar. Their custodian, I assume new to their team, struggled to communicate with his defenders, and was left stranded as Harry Smith burst forward to give us the lead from a tight angle.
The second half was mostly ours, and we wasted a few opportunities before our second goal somehow went in from Lakin's corner. As others have said, our third strike (and Nino's first for us) was a goal-of-the-season contender.
For the fist time this season we've won consecutive league games, and we're back off the bottom. But I do think we need to win at Salford on Good Friday to be properly back in the fight.

Another very enjoyable game and yes we did close the gap at the bottom of the table. We are fighting for survival and that is all you can ask ask. No must win games anymore but onto the next at Salford who won at Notts today Grimsby have been dragged back into this battle..

A rare day of great enjoyment at Gander Green Lane. Save of the season, goal of the season and, most importantly, three valuable points. On the trip back home I was whistling the theme tune to The Great Escape.
Even before his wonder goal, I was thinking that Nino was having a really good game. Top lad.
It was slightly annoying about Mansfield, but at least we took care of our own business. Even more annoying at the time was the lino with an upcoming appointment at Specsavers. Boy, did he get some stick! And quite rightly too.

Did it make it easier for players to spot a colleague, I wonder? Some years back a friend, Rob Lee, joined Newcastle. Now the Barcodes even then probably had the most spectators in the front rows of the stand wearing the home shirts of any team. "It's a nightmare", Lee said. "When I try to snatch a glance to see if our winger is out there before flicking the ball on - he is lost in a wall of black and white stripes."
