Filbert why? Do you want to keep the crowd low?

Filbert why? Do you want to keep the crowd low? I shouldn't think it will affect it too much. Probably get a small gate whatever price we charge. After all it is a T20 Q/F night on Sky lol.

How many then? 250 my guess. 250 crowd with £10 entry Your guess at the crowd if prices were reduced? Bearing in mind a lot of season ticket holders have already paid.

No, a lot won't be full price in any case. It is also not just about economics for this game imo. It is also an opportunity to gain some goodwill with supporters. As an example ci have free entry tonight. Maybe you'd only get an extra 20 people on the gate for half price? Alas, we'll never know.

How about we try and put some ideas forward that maybe the club can use next year or even this season.
Half price is one idea. I would like to see mates rates, bring a friend and get two entrances for £15 or 1 full price and one half proce if you have the mix of full paying and concession.
Obviously this could be slightly abused by current fans but the idea would be to attract someone else down with you.
It is could that we have focused on kids and ladies but what about adult males who are probably the biggest fan income group at most sporting events.

I think half price entry to certain games, friendlies, SSC and RLC would be the way to go. Hey it doesn't have to be half price, just reduce it to say £6 or £7 per adult. I like the idea Greek but could prove a tad tricky to implement and enforce. Or not...

I did suggest to Bruce last season at the Q and A that we reduce entry to SSC games - he said he would look into it. Knowing Bruce i'm sure he did, but it would have had an impact on the budgets.

Cup games are different. Funds are shared between sides.

Ticket price to include burger & chips? A pint?
They do deals like these at the dogs.

Cup games are different. Funds are shared between sides. Oh tits, I'd forgotten that. Vern, that's not a bad shout actually. Include something with the entrance fee... for cup games. I'm determined to get them in there somehow!

I am not sure myself that reducing the price tonight would have too much influence on the size of the crowd (although this is only my personal opinion). If we made the adult price £7 quid and worked on an example of 200 full paying adults being the expected attendance tonight, the amount of full paying adults would have to increase by 86 in order to get the revenue on the turnstile up to the same amount : I hope the maths are correct but I am no Carol Vorderman.
The benefit could be that more people queue up to annoy Billy and buy burgers at half time but I am still not sure it would work financially as many do not consider friendlies too important and I would be surprised if the £3 difference really tempted the extra 86 people out.
A goodwill gesture is entirely different but the shameful behaviour of Fulham may have impacted upon the finances and the opportunites to make such gestures.
