Well we got there in the end but boy did we make hard work of it, instinctive finish by Jolly knocking it over the keeper in the first min and Bradley's superb 30 yarder 10mins later seemed to set us on our way. But as so often recently we seemed to retreat more and more letting Harrow come on to us and again our long balls started to go AWOL. Harrow very physical in fact overly so at times were just allowed to much space and eventually a long Clearance was allowed to bounce in the centre circle leaving Clark edge of the box on his own to lob over Kevin, which it took excellently. Second half first 10mins we took the game to them but failed to create clear cut chances, and when Harrow got the ball out they always seemed to have an extra man in acres of space. Harrow undid themselves with some quite ridiculous late challenges which saw them lose one followed by another, even then we failed to hold the ball often putting ourselves in trouble and almost paid at the end. We are top got the 3pts we needed but really need to learn quickly just what to do when you are a few goals up because I am not sure we know and its getting a bit of a theme. Squad looking a little thin by the end tonight but we have 10 days to get some fit bodies. Bradley MOTM for me, Harrow boarding on dirty which lets them down. We have to be harsh on ourselves if we are serious about winning this league and that means putting some things right pronto. For me No1 priority is a cool head in midfield! (Edit: Perhaps I should read the transfer news before I type )

A win is a win, and to be honest as long as we win i'm happy BUT there have been a lot of examples in 2010 where we've scored early and spent the rest of the game with our backs against the wall. Credit to Harrow, after being awful for the first 20, they came back and looked half decent. All got a bit physical near the end, with 2 sending offs.
Can't fault Jols or Bradley's goals - both of them class, and cant wait to see the vids of that (I think harrow filmed it).
MoM for me was Sam Page - really did some fantastic defending today - its never easy defending against that goal machine Rocky Baptiste!
Now the only undefeated team in the league after Bury's collapse tonight. I don't think we were in any real danger of losing that tonight, but we could have dropped points tonight, but we've got to stop allowing teams back into games which we control. Nearly happened tonight, and at Hastings, and it certainly happened in the FA cup.

Three very good goals, but, frankly, the rest of the match was a bit rubbish! Once Harrow got the score back to 2-1 it looked anybody's game. They very nearly equalised early in the second half when a header came back off a post. In the end it was their lack of discipline that let them down, losing two players to second yellows, but even at 11 v 9 the two sides looked equally likely to concede again. 19 points from 7 games is a fantastic haul, but on the evidence of tonight's match we don't have the air of champions. Perhaps scrabbling to victories like this is just what we have to do in some games.

I was not there tonight due to kids being unwell but I have noticed that any team that scores in the first minute seems to lose a bit of focus, betting wise I always oppose them in running when I can

foo it though. Three points for the U's and Three goals that reminded me why I go to football. BWG's goal was obscenely good, Jolls volley was up there with the best and the Harrow goal was an excellent example of using the outside of your foot to curl the ball.
Bollocks to being cynical after seeing those three goals.
