Hi All. As 'Rambo' mentioned on the Harrow Borough match thread, I have been booked to professionally film all remaining Sutton United Home matches this season...and possibly some Away matches if the Home club do not have their games filmed. Paul Doswell gets a DVD of the game on the final whistle to help him with tactics & analysis, etc., while up to 10 minutes-worth of highlights of every game will be uploaded to You Tube, normally on the Monday after a Saturday game and the Thursday after a Tuesday game. Highlights of the Harrow Borough match are now online at the following link: . You will also find some other Non-League matches on my You Tube channel, plus loads of Sunday League stuff...if anybody is interested in that !? My website address is www.hughesvideoservices.co.ukI am hoping to update the site in a few months time so that old Sutton United matches can be ordered via credit/debit card. I have filmed quite a few over the years when I have been working for other clubs. Any feedback regarding the You Tube highlights will be welcome. Cheers, Laurence (The Cameraman)

Two things I've noticed, one as a result of the highlights:
1] Unless I've missed it, I don't think Tom Davis is getting the plaudits that his performances so far have deserved?
2] Steve Watts - assists for both goals, I missed the flick on for Jols and I also missed the committed slide / tackle for BWG, well done Wattsy!

I've rated Tom Davis every time. These video highlights are brilliant, a great complement to Paul's still photography.

I'd love to read any Harrow bod argue the toss over those 2 second yellows. How the hell the idiot in the crowd reckoned the 7 got the ball for the first one is beyond me.
Great highlights - thanks.

To be fair to the 7, it looked a lot worse from where we were standing. Whilst still a foul, on the vid it looked a lot more like one of those that on another day could have just been free-kick.

Classic bit when their second bloke gets sent off. Dave Farebrother waits patiently for him to walk down the tunnel and just says 'four'. Superb quality - and great goals too. I feel and end of season DVD comimg on!

That's great footage. I don't think I realised how good BWG's goal was from the other end of the ground, and it was nice to see Jolly's goal which I completely missed at the time.

I missed most of it as I was still trying to start my watch. However thanks to the video I can really see how great the first one was. Then it was surpassed by BWG's scorcher.

The filming has been done to a high standard and it's ideal for fans to view; however does it meet the managers brief? I would thought PD wants to see more of the play. Seeing close ups of the player taking the corners for example does not help the manager. He needs to see the bigger picture however poor the quality. I have got this wrong.................

Seeing close ups of the player taking the corners for example does not help the manager. He needs to see the bigger picture however poor the quality. I have got this wrong................. I did tell PD that the filming would be a happy medium of getting it right for the Manager but also viewable for You Tube. He has e-mailed me this morning to say that he is well pleased with how it came out. For corners, what I try to do is film the players congregating in the area first so that PD can see who is picking up who (or doing zonal properly), then pan round to the kick being taken. If I go on wide angle to get both the penalty area and the corner being taken at the same time and somebody scores from a 'fiercely-whipped-in ball into the 6-yard box', it will be too distant for proper viewing on You Tube because I wouldn't be able to zoom in quickly enough. Obviously some corners are taken quickly, so then I don't get the players congregating in the area at all. Ideally, I need to be higher up and without the dugouts in the way to get a better DVD for the Manager, but it either needs a new (and covered) gantry with mains power on the far side...or a new stand on the far side ! Something I did mention to PD was that a scaffolding company could build a new gantry and I would then put their advert on the You Tube highlights in return. ('Highlights sponsored by ....Scaffolding Ltd.'). Quite a few Non-League clubs have done that in recent years. Thanks for the compliments re the filming everyone.
