Very stupid set of people. Oxford K seems to on one hand imply that people should confront them to their face (yes, approaching a group of tanked up men sounds like a great idea and won't escalate matters), then on the other hand seems to get upset when McKimm confronts them after a shed load of abuse?! A confused man. Ignoring them, as we did, is the only way forward. Amazing that they feel that coming to a game that has nothing to do with them purely to abuse Sutton and McKimm is reasonable human behaviour. And I am not upset or shitting myself at them as they seem to think! Just laughing at them.

Indeed, their over-reaction to our over-reaction is very, very amusing stuff. I've said my piece on thier forum, but it's funny to read their reaction to it.

Somebody should have challenged them.I didn't realise who they were until i came on here though i asked the bloke next to me early on if Sutton were playing Kingston or Maidstone.
How bad does people's behaviour have to get before they are thrown out of the ground ? I can swear as well as the next man but i thought about going home ten minutes into the game.
Some of you lot who brush it off make me laugh. On Friday you were talking about bringing children to the game , on Satuday this was allowed to happen.
I would like to bring our Grandaughter along in a year or two but how can i if this is allowed to pass as acceptable behaviour ?
Someone at Sutton United needs to stand up and do something about it.It is totally unacceptable and made worse of course by the fact that Kingstonian were not even playing.

Indeed, their over-reaction to our over-reaction... This is the key here. Again, one or two have reacted in properly middle class horror on here at their appearance. Someone even called 'em 'scum'. Really? Bit strong that. They're just dicks. My main feeling was one of bemusement. As they seemingly sacked off a day on the piss by the coast to come down to GGL and pay a tenner to do their little "We hate Sutton" cabaret. F*cks sake guys, I know your game was off, but FFS find a pub, have a few beers, nice bit of lunch, dick about on the pier, few more beers, bag of chips, train home. It's already been said many times. They think they're well funneh and it's all just bantaaaaah. Let 'em get on with it....

Foul and abusive language can not be condoned. If you have an issue with it you must inform an official or a steward so the matter can be dealt with.

Please look at the Ground Regulations printed in the programme regarding "Using obscene language" You didnt need to report it.You could hear it at the other end of the ground!

Whilst the K's fans were a bunch of idiots they are not really what I would call a threat to ground safety, a bit like asbestos if you leave it alone its quite harmless.
Its ok for people to say they should have been sling out, but who and how? And would that have improved or inflamed the situation?
I think the stewards we entirely correct.
If we chucked everyone out for "Using obscene language" there would be no one left in the ground.

I didn't hear any real comments from where i was in the ground apart from when they sang "Top of the league ,your having a laugh" and thought they were from Maidstone's supporters!

The best way to deal with this is not to even bother posting on their forum, or re-acting by posting a reply! As tempting as it is to reply, dont bother wasting your time.Lets just concentrate on wat we need to do,and if it happens again lets just sing louder and ignore it. If you're at a game and you feel unhappy at the language being used then you are well within your right to report it to a steward.

I didn't know they were Kingstone fans until I came on here. There was only about six of them, not worth a fuss. I'm sure a few people on here go and watch Palace or Fulham or other bigger local teams on occasion, why shouldn't they?

Bored of all this now, lets concentrate on winning the next game and hopefully do enough to win the title this season.
