Thought he deserved a thread of his own. Big thanks for Karl for his always committed efforts. He has been a good player for us and it's sad to see him leave. Hope to see him back playing somewhere else shortly.

Good luck to Karl who did well for us. I don't want to start an unfounded rumour, but this is the second time (Francis Quarm being the first) that a player has been released after a silly sending off. If you watch the TV coverage, you can see Dos not making eye contact with Karl as he walks off against Notts County. Of course, it could just be coincidence; but if it isn't, I like it.

Can't imagine it was that. More likely the reason Dos gave, in that he couldn't commit to training.

Indeed, and it's been two weeks since the County game, Quarm was released on the evening of the Bury Town away game.
Good luck Muzza, great signing for us. Shame he's gone, but hope he does well in the future (just not to detriment of SUFC)

Sorry tonyd but i don't really understand. Yes maybe it was a silly sending off, but it didn't cost us the game against county. It is not the first time a player gets a red for silly things and i don't think it will be the last. I'm hoping that that isn't the reason Karl has gone, because i think he was terrific for us.

Sorry TonyD but I think that's utter poppycock - if that was the case, he would have gone after the Staines match in August, which was even more silly.
A goodbye and thank you to one our players of the season last year. Anyone who had the pleasure of watching Karl last season would know he was a brilliant signing for us. I wish him, and his family all the best

As above.
Good luck Karl, shame to lose such a good player but circumstances change.

Good luck to him and I hope he finds a club that fits in with his family life.

Shame really, I liked Karl as a bloke and a player, but family comes first of course.
I was hoping he might have done one of his paintings of some of the current squad after seeing his effort in the paper during the current run. May have looked good in the bar,

Yes, we'll miss Karl's high energy performances in midfield - not to mention his ability to fill in at right back.

We definitely have missed his presence in a holding mid-field role just in front of the back four and he also filled in very well at RB. With our current squad and formation and the way we play games will be very entertaining but we will possibly have to score 2-3 goals to win. Probably a nailed on 0-0 tonight now ;D
