would it be a good idea. to perhaps create a sticky thread at the top of the forum where all online media posts could be found/ pasted/ linked to...? a similiar format to the news of the ex- U's thread..?

I posted that earlier, on the actual match thread - presumed that was more appropriate.

Makes sense. Like last year, it's out of our hands. If you gave every side maximum points (obviously not possible but a good measure) and put every team on 33 games, we'd be 5th below Eastleigh, Bromley, Havant and Stortford (in that order) If you did that for 42 games (i.e. the maximum possible score) then Havant, Stortford, Eastleigh, Concord and Bromley can all get higher totals than us. We just have to do what we can to rack the points up.

Play offs yes but championship almost completely out of the question. H&W would have to win about 16 games in less than 2 months which is not happening. Also how do Concord get above us over 42? Not that Dos isn't right, give it a good go and if not this year we go again. At least we are on track for some end of season excitement.

Stortford have got to play Eastleigh twice, us and Bromley, whilst Havant have to play all of the current top 6. Seeing how quickly things have turned around for the worse for Bromley, results in the right places could have a major effect on the look of the play off places come the end of the season. I'm not saying by any stretch of the imagination that either of those teams will win the league (although mathematically they can) and I've never said they they will win the league, but with games to play they are in with more of a shout than others. Last season we won 9 on the bounce to take us from an average position to nearly the play offs, with quite an intense schedule. A bit of momentum could easily see them challenging for honours, even if they fall short.

Well if you had left it as it is out of our hands and indicated Bromley and Eastleigh are in pole position then I'd agree. I just don't see the relevance of Concord, H&W and BS to the title race (apart from taking points off of us, Ebbsfeet, Bromley and Eastleigh). The play offs are very much in our hands.

The story we're referring to is about Dos playing down our title hopes. And that's what I referred to.
