All players should have received an email from me tonight - if I've forgotten anyone then please let me know!
If anyone wants to just come and watch on Friday it's a 7.30pm kick-off and entry will be by donation, with all monies raised going to the Juniors

What's the pitch looking like Gareth? As I retired from 11-a-side about 13 years ago due to lack of talent I only have astro-turf boots. They work wonders for 5-a-side on a weekly basis but of course are crap on a muddy field! And yes, I do ask this every year.

I'll be able to let you know after tonight's Cup Final. Or of course, feel free to come along tonight to cheer the lads on and have a look at the pitch yourself!

What is the news on the pitch for the Steve McKimm testimonial match tonight?
I'm slightly concerned that it might be a tad dry for my style of football.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Gareth for organising tonight's game.
What a smashing evening despite losing the game to the the Juniors section (and well done to them) it was a great night and a very humberling experiance playing along side such U's legends Mickey Stephens and Steve Mckimm and of course the Duke despite his deserved sending off.
Playing on the GGL pitch is always a special, occasion.
and a tidy sum of money made for the junior section.
Thank you Gareth !!!!!!

First of all well done to Miller for tonight's event. Well played to you. Second nice to see our own resident ref, Frakey return to the pitch for tonight's expo. Good on ya frakey !
The highlight had to be a rather robust challenge from Duke , a.k.a The Baliff - he knocks twice and takes everything! Frakey not happy with the challenge sent Dukey packing back to the dugout!
...and well i ran, a little too ! if only I had two decent knee's !
well done to all that took part tonight, i heard a rumor that on or around £800 large was raised tonight, for a great cause.
Juan

Fantastic evening, we did everything except score. Some fantastic football was played and to only lose 1-0 was a fine achievement. Being subbed on for Micky Stephens will probably remain the highlight of my footballing career. Never has such a limited player ever replaced such a class act
