....thanks for that, remember the day very well, the film was very clear not the grainy pictures I have seen before. I must have another browse and see if I can recognise anyone I knew at that time? Spectators everywhere, health and safety never heard of it in 1970. Someone mentioned trees at GGL a while ago, looking at this film the ground was surround by elms, used to stand under one when rained on the terraces, happy days.

An interesting article on the match from a Leeds U website. 14.000 attendance. Don Revie complaining. Bremner, Hunter, Charlton, Lorimer etc on the pitch. You'd be lucky to get the reserve squad coming to the Lane if we were playing a top flight club nowadays. I noticed some people sitting on the stands, my friend and me got chased out of the ground back in the 70's for doing the same (on more than one occasion)...those were the days. >>>LINK<<<

still have some good memories of that game,except for the result,Sutton and Leeds skinheads standing next to each other ,with hardly any trouble!
