Why does it matter who sponsors our league? We will get new benchwear kit and financially be better off for this deal. I'd rather the league had a sponsor than not because the company isn't fashionable enough.
Would a firm who leases cars rather than vans be seen as a better option? All a bit petty IMO.

Well, if you see the arsehole van driver who has left his back hanging across my drive entrance and making a left turn only possible via a 3 point maneuver, you might raise an eye brow. Even worse, I think hes F'd off on holiday as well.

I don't have a problem with Vans R us but it's a shame that the 3 feeder league all have higher profile sponsors and have done for a while (Ryman/Calor/Evo Stik compared to Blue Square/Skrill/Vans etc) and have longer term associations (as for Ryman for example, well over 10 years). I don't see why a higher level couldn't attract a higher, more national sponsor. I would say that those business managers at Conferenc HQ probably need some fresh blood, and working all year round to get one rather than panic (like they seem to do)
But hey as long as the league is sponsored for it's proper value...

Tbh I couldn't care less what the league is called, I've personally never referred to the Conf South as anything else

I'd like a higher profile sponsor simply because it makes the profile of the league look higher. I know it sounds stupid, but joe Public is likely to be more interested in a product he can associate with a well-known or trusted brand. When it was the GM Vauxhall Conference everyone had heard of it; some people still think it's called that.

I meant to add: but beggars can't be choosers and I'm glad these guys have stepped in to help out. Wouldn't want anyone to think their sponsorship wasn't welcome.

I wonder how much is the deal actually worth?

I wonder how much is the deal actually worth? The NLP said 2 million over 3 years @700k per season.

The Conference is lucky they have found any sponsor really. I'm not surprised it took them 6 months to find one. Every season there is some farce or other involving clubs in their leagues that makes the competition look completely tin pot. What respectable company would want to associate itself with such a poorly run organisation?
I couldn't really careless who the sponsor is as long as the club are benefiting/not losing out financially.
