Sorry, I thought you were replying about us equalling their record!

Quick fact for you. Dulwich had won 10 SSCs before we'd won our first. When they won their last, we'd only got 4 so it's been quite a long haul to overtaking their record and that for me is what would make it a substantial achievement but I also agree with your previous point Andy if it's a 'one or the other' type thing then FA Trophy is better for the club.

Result from tonight: Godalming Town 2-4 Mole Valley SCR A bitter person might say "Good". An extremely bitter person would add "riddance!"

They'll be affiliated to the Surrey FA just like Ashford Town who are in Middlesex (although Middlesex doesn't actually exist). Are there any sides in Sussex and Hampshire affiliated to Surrey?

Cheaper I would think to get to Guildford or Woking than going to Ramsgate, Deal etc.

Beckenham has played in the SSC for a few years now. Another Middlesex club, Staines Lammas actually won the Surrey Premier Cup not too long ago. As far as I am aware, the only Sussex & Hampshire clubs who also affiliate to the Surrey FA are at a lower level.
AFC Wimbledon, Met Police and Cor-Casuals are affiliated to London but also affiliate to Surrey too. Of course, U's used to affiliate with the London FA but ended that liaison at the end of the 83/4 season.
