The first three Strikers are Key draws duly took place in the Players' Bar after today's match v Boreham Wood
1) The draw for the Havant game - £300 was in the safe following Jessy's two goals v Maidenhead and Havant. Ball number 9 ( yes, really!!) was pulled out of the purple velvet bag, owned by "The Old Ds" syndicate. Peter Dillon sadly didn't choose the correct key winning his syndicate the £50 consolation prize instead.
2) The draw for the Salisbury game that never was - £500 was in the safe. Ball number 32 was pulled out of the purple velvet bag, owned by "Bruce's Retirement Fund" syndicate. Chris Elliott sadly didn't choose the correct key either, winning his syndicate the £50 consolation prize too.
3) The draw following today's match v Boreham Wood - £700 was in the safe. Ball number 16 was pulled out of the purple velvet bag, owned by the " Lucky Strikers" syndicate. Bob Hasler chose wisely, (eventually) opening the safe thereby winning his syndicate the £700 cash prize. Congratulations to him and his fellow syndicate members, Tony Cove and Stewart Howe.
Onwards to Concord in two weeks' time. Up the U's!

The fourth SAK draw duly took place in the Players' Bar after today's match v Concord Rangers.
Ball number 39, owned by Tony Dunmore, was pulled out of the purple velvet bag. In Tony's absence, Dale Binns stepped forward to try to open the safe on his behalf. Sadly he chose the wrong key. Tony wins the £50 consolation prize and the safe will contain a minimum of £550 after next Saturday's match v Staines.
Before the draw, a limited edition Nike Red IMS Football was auctioned with all proceeds going to the Sutton United Community Programme. Our thanks to Lee Capell whose bid of £65 won him the ball. Further opportunities to bid for these high quality footballs will be made available on selected Saturdays.
Onwards to Whitehawk on Tuesday and next Saturday's fifth SAK draw after our home match v Staines.
Up the U's!

Hi AB, I was wondering whether there would be SAK photo session this season as there was last? Also will the rest of the benifits be available?

Hi Bob; there were some changes to last year's scheme as detailed in the thread entitled "Strikers are Key 2014-15" started by davef and also posted on main site. The first post on that thread has an attachment detailing full benefits.

Ball 21 was pulled out of the velvet bag in yesterday"s 5th SAK draw, a ball owned by the syndicate " Sharman's Howlers" ( David Sharman, Ashley Secker, Julian Rozario, Kevin Sutton and Gareth Lambe). Sadly Julian was unable to choose the right key, so a minimum of £750 is carried forward to the next draw on Saturday 5th October. Ball 21's syndicate wins the £50 consolation prize.
This week's Nike IMS Football went to Dan Taylor whose £30 bid was the highest.
Onwards and upwards!

SAK draw 6/21 will take place in the Players' Bar at 5:45pm after the match v Bath City on Saturday. A minimum of £750 will be up for grabs plus £50 per goal scored by any of the nominated strikers.....on which subject; following Jamie Taylor's departure and Marvin Williams'' retirement due to injury, Jessy Reindorf will now be joined by Jo Kuffour and Craig Dundas as those nominated. Every time one of them notches a League goal, £50 will be added to the safe.
Bonne chance, mes braves...

The sixth Strikers are Key draw took place in the Players' Bar after today's game v Bath City.
Ball number 18, owned by the Hollands, was pulled out of the purple velvet bag and Sylvia Holland duly stepped forward to choose the correct key, opening the safe and collecting the £750 booty within. Congratulations to her and to fellow syndicate member, Tony.
That's two successful openings of the safe in six attempts. Who's next? it could be you!
Onwards to draw 7.

Ball number 16 was pulled out of the purple velvet bag in today's Strikers are Key draw. " Lucky Strikers" syndicate member Stewart Howe went on to pick the right key and win his syndicate £250. Congratulations to him and fellow syndicate members Bob Hasler and Tony Cove.

Ball number 22 was ( eventually) pulled out of the bag in today's eighth Strikers are Key draw after the game v Eastbourne Borough, the ball owned by Ray and Derek Holmes.
Sadly, Ray was unsuccessful in choosing the right key, therefore winning the £50 consolation prize for his syndicate.
A minimum of £450 will up for grabs in the ninth draw after next week's game v Hemel Hempstead.
NB Ball 43 is now, sadly, a lonely old ball without an owner and is, importantly, not " paid up" to the present draw or to the end or half season. With thirteen draws to go it is therefore available to buy by a syndicate for £220 pro rata (just £44 per person in a syndicate of five or £3.38 per draw). If you're interested in making ball 43 a " live" ball again, contact me via this thread or on uws@suttonunited.net.
Up the U's. Onwards and upwards.
