This will be the biggest game in their short history, certainly a potential banana skin awaits us. They are doing well in the Essex league and will be well up for it. Like any match we need to earn the right to play, rather than just turn up and win. Somebody somewhere will cause a cup shock, we just have to make sure its not FC Romania. And here on Football Clichés we have our winner. As the third person in 12 hours to use the term "banana skin" you win our top prize of ten thousand pounds! [studio audience go wild] Tune in next week for more classic clichés. You'll be as sick as a parrot if you don't! [credits roll while applause fades]

In reply to Delboy's previous posting re the grounds being close together, I've double checked, and unless I'm wrong ( might be the case, no doubt Frakey or Press Sec will correct me ! ), Enfield in that season were still at Southbury Road, so if you look on a map, Cheshunt's ground is north of Junction 25, Enfield's was quite a bit away South of that same junction ( I make it about a 15 minute drive from one to the other from memory ? ) You must be right because I remember going there for a league match v Enfield, and that was the first season I did all the away games. Remember Cheshunt quite well. And that Cheltenham game I remember very well indeed - we played an excellent game of football that day. It was the second of 4 seasons on the trot that we went out 1-0 in the 4th qualifying round, I think. No new grounds for me this season, alas. Maybe next round? Amberchoc: it's a funny old game, no?

One memory I have of many of Southbury Road was that's where Sutton were when Hillsborough happened - I remember listening to the radio at half time hearing what happened, and then whilst waiting on the platform at Southbury station. I think we drew 3-3 that day, but to be honest, any result that day was pretty inconsequential.

I see FC Romania lost their first game of the season last night going down 4-1 at Sporting Bengal United albeit a league cup game. They have a top-of-the-table game this Saturday before we head down there in the Cup.

On Saturday they are away to Seoul City, a match in which many of the players are hoping to kick-start their Korea's.

The good: a) They're a few divisions below us b) One of the sides which will get decent media exposure c) It's not Bromley. We always lose to Bromley The bad: a) They've not lost all season and are scoring lots of goals * b) We will be the side most neutrals want to lose c) It's a huge banana skin * As they are doing so well should mean the Sutton side will then give them the respect they deserve. Unlike the Alton side we lost to.
