No wonder people behind the scenes get pissed off at times. Dos didn't have to do the Q&A, ab didn't have to get the wheels in motion, and it was set up at very short notice because there was a genuine concern among the fans about how we were performing. What's better - this or not at all? Either put your money where your mouth is and sort it out yourselves or accept the circumstances. Thank you again to Dos for giving us his time and wisdom, and to AB for making it happen. Spot on Andy, I probably shouldn't comment but Jesus wept, I can't believe some of the comments on here.

I didn't attend the Q&A yesterday for a number of reasons. One, unlike some on here, I am not in some blind panic over the way our season has gone so far but another is because of some of the rubbish that a very small minority of those who do attend utter at these events. Some even talking while Dos, who everyone has come to listen to is making a point. Rather like sitting close to the idiot who rabbits all the way though a film when at the cinema.
Yep, I am very crotchety for one so young, but reading the comments on here rather backs up a couple of points I make above.

Sorry, but it is wrong to say something a tad negative at times? Nobody is disputing it's good of Dos to give up his time but the fact was its hard to hear. I thought the point of a forum was to say what you feel but every time there is a slight criticism, you get shot down. Ho hum.

Why do people keep saying you get shot down fir thinking something different to others on here?
It's a public forum, you get plenty of fors and againsts, I don't think you're mortally offending anyone with your opinions, and others are just giving theirs! Get over it!!

You post your view others post theirs. If they don't happen to agree that is not being shot down it is debate. The word forum I suspect is as old as the Romans. They used to disagree a lot at their forum. Even knifed each other when it got out of hand.
would be bloody boring if we all agreed. It is nothing personal so don't take it to be.

It comes from the Roman word for marketplace. A public place where people met and had discussions. It's nice to hear opinions that are different from one's own.

I was unable to hear what Dos said but that was because a friend had inconveniently decided to be 50 years old when Sutton are at home and had a party down near Chichester so even Tott's PA wouldn't have helped.
All the previous Q&A sessions I have been too have been excellent and some of my mates can't believe that Dos agrees to such a frank and honest debate even when things are not going as well as we might have hoped.
I hope the negative stuff does not put Dos off from doing them again and whatever time suits Dos, I will do my best to be there.

He did say Shaun Cooper can play a holding position in midfield so Louis John will be able to get a place in defence when fit.

As I've said before I've got no problem with someone having a different opinion than me. I do however have a problem when people are just looking for a moan, or are doing nothing constructive to improve a situation.
As was said on here earlier there was plenty of space near Dos for people to go to and people didn't move even after a number of times. Then there was the Stortford idiots shouting through the window. I took it upon myself to do something positive and close the blinds and after about 10 seconds when they couldn't see our reactions anymore, they went away. No fuss, no bother, just a positive action.
As frakey said, usually at these things there were people muttering throughout the Q&A. This time was no different, and I'm sorry if you don't agree but like I said previously, our manager had no obligation to do this Q&A and if there is a small minority of people who can't use a few basic manners to listen to what he has to say (and listen to those asking questions) then I, and probably a few others on here, won't be obliged to show then appropriate courtesy.
