The honesty is really uplifting, even after yesterday I find myself already feeling positive and hoping that what Dos has said to the players has given them the determination that I now feel they should have.

Wow, interesting interview, pretty honest and certainly not pulling any punches. I think the task at hand now is pretty clear for the close season. Dos stated a while back that he makes up a chunk of the playing budget and as a businessman he will not want to be investing money in anyone not interested in playing their best for us. I guess its a case of getting this season over with and concentrating on getting us ready to attack the new season with fresh optimism.

Its interesting to compare the 2 men involved, both claim to have put similar sums into their clubs. But that's where the similarities end, we have the far shrewder board and in Dos we have a manager who isn't going to take no for an answer. Spencer doesn't know what to say or what is going to do next, whereas Dos knows exactly what he is going to do.

I watched Match of the Day on Saturday night and most of the football on Sunday. I didn't see a more honest manager than Dos. At one point (when talking about Glen Southam), I wasn't sure if he was going to laugh or cry. Thankfully he laughed and there is a look of determination for next season which could make things interesting.
Eastbourne could be interesting because the players sure as hell owe the manager and the supporters a performance!

I think Dos is bang on, and something I said on Saturday - no player actually did well on Saturday, which makes the constant moaning at one or two players from a minority of supporters even more obnoxious.

I don't think we played as badly as Dos makes out. What i would agree with was the wind & bumpy pitch stopped us playing like we can.Changing all the squad doesn't work and its consistency that's required. Ebbsfleet had a big clearout and have gone from a team almost certain to make the playoffs to one to one that will be lucky to do so.
