I daresay she needs a holiday! It's a shame nobody else could have picked up the job in her absence. I'd have done it.

The point that northernmonkey makes is a valid one. It may not matter to us whether we get the tickets quickly or not, but the first impressions of any new supporters coming on board specifically because of the season ticket offer are all-important. Before embarking on this venture, the football club ought to have determined the necessary resources to ensure that all season tickets were issued promptly. It's an unfortunate fact these days that the customer isn't interested in hearing things like holidays or being over-worked.

Amerchoc, although a lot of what you say about what people aren't interested in hearing these days seems to have become "the norm", you have to take into account that nearly everything done at SUFC is by "volunteers" who undertake their roles as and when they can, AFTER they've completed their daytime jobs, and an awful lot ( me included ) don't live in the Gander Green Lane area so can't just take over someone else's role if they go away on holiday etc.........we're not a professional Premier League club like Chelsea etc The Football Club is always crying out for "extra help" ( see the Official Website this week for example ) with regards to stewarding, operating turnstiles and for manning the car park ( which will cost £2 when introduced this season )

I'm simply stating the harsh reality these days. I have a saying: The customers are always right arseholes!

Mine didn't arrive in today's post, I'm just taking my receipt of payment with me tomorrow. If he didn't pay online and doesn't have a receipt he may be able to pick it up there Tuesday night from the club.
