Still plenty of earth to move as can be seen by this picture taken 26/5/15.

Oxford City's installation of a 3G pitch has now been delayed until the season after next.

Is the Sutton slope to be retained or is the ground going to be levelled?

Great stuff Paul. From where did you take the elevated shot?

They're my photos, Paul has kindly selected some half reasonable ones and hosted them on Flickr.
I took some from 'Mount Gander' - the big pile that was at the GGL gate end, (most of it shifted today) and the last one or two were taken from the gantry on the Collingwood Rec side.

Ok Millsy, thanks. Glad that mound was solid enough not to shift while you was taking the photo.

I note a letter from one of our neighbours(name & address supplied)in the Sutton Guardian today. The author is complaining about the dust and dirt that is making washing day a difficulty and covering the car within 30 mins of being washed. Plus the fact the work is being done during the summer weather.
Perhaps the author needs to learn more about when the football season runs and why work such as this has to be done in the summer? More importantly, they obviously ignored the consultation meeting invitation that was held earlier in the year.

A perfect example of "everyone has the right to reply, but doesn't mean they actually should"
