Any news on admission prices? The bobbins website is about as useful as their side...

We started strongly, with Dundo and Bolarinwa looking lively. They combined for our opener, a strong finish from Tom. Then the right side of our defence seemed to go missing for the cross from which Bobbins equalised, and after that we struggled to make much impact. We had a decent shout for a pen in the second half and Spillane found the net with a header disallowed for offside. Bobbins had some late pressure and we conceded a couple of free kicks just outside our area. Overall a draw was a fair result.

I note on the Robins Forum much derision over the floodlight problems and nothing about their team's excellent showing last night. I suppose most of them on there are banned so wouldn't have seen the match anyway.
Once those lights came on they were impressive.
As for the match, we probably should have won and Fitch will be have been disappointed not to take the chance or not get the blatant penalty that Mr Atkin, rarely shy in the past in pointing to the spot failed to see.
Robins caused far more problems than Welling had done on Saturday and maybe that was because we were missing Coops who has been playing in that anchor midfield role. They had some good pace down the right in both halves and will have been happy with the draw.
Believe the best we have played so far in pre-season was the Bristol Rovers match but a bit worrying to see 4 players have to sit last night out plus Tom going off too. He took his goal well.
Pre-season can be so mis-leading so i am not going to make any judgments yet. We do have some real quality in this squad though.

I was having on a squint on the Carshalton forum myself and I was rather perturbed to find that someone calling himself Amberchoc had been causing ructions with a thread about 3G a few months ago. Even worse, some on their forum were suggesting that it was Mad Oaf Dipre using one of his many aliases.

I was hoping to see Tommy Smith on Tuesday. To be honest he is the only striker that has looked promising during the preseason games.
