The season starts on Saturday with possibly the game of day in the NS.
One thing that will be hard to predict is our starting lineup.
It could look like this:
Ross Worner, Kevin Amankwaah, Dan Spence, Simon Downer , Dean Beckwith Shaun Cooper, Ross Stearn, Glen Southam, Tom Bolarinwa Craig McAllister, Stuart Fleetwood
Who would you play?
Edit: Tom to replace Micky

Was thinking about the team last night and agree very hard to predict given the performances. Noone attacking wise has really made a convincing case, I guess the biggest eye catcher is Bolarwina but he has been mainly used from the bench. My team, which won't look much like the selected 11 is:
Worner Amankwaah/Spence, Wishart, Downer, Collins (if fit) Bolarwina (rm), Stearn (lm), Dundas, Southam , Fitchett, McAllister
Can't agree with use of Southam out wide but given how we have lined up he'll be there. Also Cooper looks like he'll start in the centre of midfield, he has done ok. Also seems likely Fleetwood will start. So how I think we'll start:
Worner, Amankwaah/Spence, Wishart, Downer, Collins Cooper, Stearn (rm), Southam (lm), Dundas McAllister, Fleetwood
Any predictions on league finish out there? I reckon we'll be mid table, around 10-12th. Hope for better though and obviously way too early to judge. I read somewhere Jessy was our leading league scorer joint with 6 last season, hope we can improve significantly on that!! I think we'll be pretty strong defensively, if we can get it right at the other end it may be we can get up there pushing for play offs.
Edit for Spillane's absence

Probably why he didn't start against Bromley.I would say that the team that started that match will be our opening line up and of course we will win the league.
Just got an early look at Whitehawk last night at Merstham. Very average at best.

lots of people on our side counting the hours down to this match too. thinking on, this is possibly the best opener of the season. 'El Plastico', welcome to the dark side. be prepared to never being given credit for a solid home victory. but all that nonsense aside, what a day it can be. looks like you have a great set up over there, and very much looking forward to sampling a beer or two in one of your three (3 bars!) watering holes. food sounds good too, though i doubt you can match our award winning pie stand. i'm sure a warm reception will be in order, particularly as supporters of both teams will be almost indistinguishable, and hopefully a few beers together before the opening of this years campaign. looking forward to meeting you all. cheers, and all the best (except for the game on saturday of course)

Amid all the shared love for 3G, there's a serious challenge for this Sutton team - can they achieve something that's happened only once under Dos's management, an opening day win? The previous occasion was in 2009/10 - when we opened at home against a club from Kent whose name begins with M. We won 4-0.

Sat 15 3.00 H Sutton vs Margate Att 508 W 4-0 our erstwhile friends from thanet didn't seem to have such a good day. i would hope saturdays' game to be a little less one sided. very cool username by the way.

Disappointing performance in defeat. I think we are a couple of good players short and there wasn't much sign of executing any game plan until Bolarinwa came on

We had so many corners today - Southam's long corners were very well placed, but the short ones were blocked frequently.
