It's probably about the point in the season where we start to keep an eye on other teams scores, and there's a lot on Tuesday with relevance to us
Bath City v Gosport Borough Ebbsfleet United v Havant & Waterlooville Hayes & Yeading United v Dartford Truro City v Weston-super-Mare
The most important is of course Ebbsfleet's game - failure to win will leave them either 10 or 11 points ahead of us having played 3 games more. If they lose this will mean if we win our 3 games in hand and beat Ebbsfleet on 16th April we could be 2 points ahead of them, assuming that we match their scores in the other games. Also the current 4th, 5th and 6th all play against sides near or in a relegation spot (and of course so do Ebbsfleet).

Hoping for a buoyant Havant side after beating Maidstone at the weekend.

Hoping for a buoyant Havant side after beating Maidstone at the weekend. Miracles do happen - Havant's home form is actually the 3rd best in the league (behind Maidstone and us). Their away form however is what's got them in trouble - they've won once on their travels this season in 15 attempts (at Oxford in November)

Let's face it, any result at Stonebridge Road tomorrow other than a home win would be a surprise. Ebbsfleet have another evening game next week (Maidenhead away) and if they win both they could be 16 points ahead of us by the weekend after next. Games in hand are all very well, but the more we have the less likely it is that we'll take maximum points from them. The worry is that we're playing twice a week through most of late March and April, including several games against other promotion contenders, while Ebbsfleet will be able to take a week's rest between most of their matches. There's heavy rain forecast for tomorrow morning, and if Ebbsfleet v Havant gets postponed that wouldn't be a bad result for us.

Agreed with AA. I believe Ebbsfleet have a fairly good record re getting games on so postponement may be unlikely? If Ebbsfleet get those 6 points we are certainly playing for 2nd place. Even 4 would make it very very unlikely. No games are a given though in this league as we know, certainly Maidenhead away is never easy. We've just got to do our bit and keep hoping. We wouldn't back against us in any game at this level but to keep winning is very difficult.

Chelmo brushed aside Stortford tonight with Storford being reduced to 10 men immediately after the 4th goal, although have to say it did look like a foul on the centre back seconds before the ball ended up in the back of the net....the ref obviously felt that one player had protested more than he should have done ! Chelmo looking very strong "team wise" at the mo, with 2 wins in succesion

According to the NLP, Gosport are not paying their players, and have needed to put in place instalments to the HRMC.

I'm keeping an eye on the live scores, but I don't think that's what you mean Ebbsfleet dropping points at home to Havant would be awesome.
