Bath and Weston already were safe.

Bath and Weston already were safe. Didn't I just say that?

Thought you were saying they were safe as a consequence of last night's result? They were both safe before then.

I congratulate you on your erudite observation.
For those also bothered by my erroneous assumption, I correct myself by stating that due to last night's result, Havant cannot catch Bath or Weston. Hopefully those of you bothered by my previous statement can now enjoy their Friday evening a little more.

So elsewhere....
Lowestoft relegated from the National North Salford beat Workington to go into the National North Worthing beat Faversham to go into the Ryman Premier
And more directly relevant to us... FC Halifax and Altrincham join Kidderminster and Welling in National relegation, whilst one of Forest Green, Braintree, Grimsby and Dover battle for a place in the football league. This means we are certain to play Guisley, Boreham Wood, Tranmere and Eastleigh next season.

I was pleased to see Boreham Wood avoid the drop, simply because they'll almost certainly be a team that struggles next season. For the same reason, I'll be hoping that either Truro or Whitehawk come up through the play-offs!

So in addition to Worthing winning the Ryman South play-offs, Harlow Town beat AFC Hornchurch this afternoon in the Ryman North play-offs.

I'm sorry that Altricham went down as that was one of the grounds I wanted to visit. Instead we've got Guiseley - who? Plus Barrow, Wrexham and Tranmere which will be new grounds for me.

Hungerford beat Leamington 2-1 in the Southern Premier Final meaning they'll also take their place in the National League South next season.
