Will he last longer there than he did at Eastleigh?

Will he last longer there than he did at Eastleigh? You mean Solihull right? I'm sure he will beat his 26 days!

The beholder of the worst footballer nickname whilst at Luton. John ‘tumble’ Dreyer acceptable, Richard ‘well worth the’ Money not quite as snappy.

It's not yet New Year and already a third of the clubs in the National League (8 out of 24) have parted company with the managers they started the season with. Two of those (Hessenthaler and Ricketts) left for other clubs, the other six have been sacked.

I thought yesterday that it was the end for Martin Allen.

Martin Allen and Chesterfield part company. I wonder what he'll say in his Daily Mail column.

A torrid season for Maidstone having already got rid of Jay Saunders in the early months of the season - Wheeler pretty much ripped up the whole squad and now finds him a goner too. I’d be surprised if they stayed up.

With the exception of Chesterfield, I note that the bottom 8 teams are all from the south. Given that it's currently a distinct possibility that four southern teams could be relegated, will some of them have to play in the National League North next season?

Might have to move NLS clubs over. Gloucester has already spent time in NLN.

John Still gone from Barnet too. Perhaps they’ll take Mad Dog back.
