It's the holier than thou attitude of certain people on here that are the problem. This is primarily a supporters forum and they have the right to express their feelings. It's called consideration and respect. If you think that is a problem then we probably have nothing to say to each other as they are values in life that are nowhere near as important as having your opinion, whether others want to hear them or not. Exactly. Pots and kettles come to mind.

Yes people have a right to discuss topics but guess what people also have the right to say something is wrong. Different opinions are what make free speech, but the so-called free speech champion snowflakes always fail to recognise that. Putting it simply, no-one is saying you don’t have the right to speculate about out going players, but they are questioning the wisdom and effect of doing so, especially on such a public platform I don't think I've made any comments about outgoing players before they've gone.

For what its worth and i don't tend to read other forums much i'm sure you have this sort of thread on most all of them so i wouldn't expect any different here whether it be right or wrong.
I'm sure most on here have a different view on players abilities and whether to retain them.We have a good squad and if Dos has to tweak it for financial reasons then so be it.

When you can't recall what you've said on another thread then I see a potential problem in your statement

I've lost count of the number of times that people have claimed online to be championing their right to free speech, when in reality, what they are really championing is some ill-conceived right not to be criticised.

Yes, they tend to forget that those criticising them are also employing their right to free speech.

The problem here is we are not Manchester United with millions of fans posting on multiple forums about players and managers they will never meet. By the very nature of our club we are a small family, even compared to the likes of Wrexham and Leyton Orient. We know our players and manager personally, many including Dos read this forum. So I think anyone can say what they like within reason but, it may hurt and upset people. If you are prepared to give it, you have to be prepared to take it, its as simple as that. I try not to let the fact that people know who I am stop me from posting my thoughts, but I have learnt that you have to do it with a bit of thought and a bit of tact. I think all the bullet holes in me have finally taught me that (ish)

If you read what I posted you will see that I named nobody, and the suggestions that a specific player might lose his job were made by others not me. I made a comment about Dos's video interview and my interpretation of his mood and likely action. If you think that was wrong go to the new signings page. QED. We read what you posted. It was pretty clear. Amber Planet, "The Airstrip One" of Non League football forums
