Us Ravens are so happy with this draw, nice and local. Considering we travelled over 3,000 miles last season to get to the final, this is a bonus. I'm sure you're happy too with the travel and at least we both know what we're up against. Looking forward Amber Planets to your visit on the 15th, we shall give you our most friendly welcome, seriously.... PS. I'm pretty sure this will be a big gate, make no mistake. You travelled 3,000 miles to get to Wembley. It's only a Travelcard away mate, did you go via Moldova?

Now don't be silly To be fair, we could have had worse draws and yes, it's local and hopefully the crowd should be decent. Not too thrilled about playing them 3 times in a month either but I'm sure they feel the same way. And thank you Bromley person for your nice post.

Very funny my friend. When you've played Blyth Spartans, Workington, Spennymoor twice,(first match postponed when we arrived) and Gateshead, you know you've travelled the country. I'm sure you'll be able to use your travel card when you come to the RAVENS NEST.

Straightforward return for me.
What did you make of your trip to Workington? I ask because I'm a bit of an anorak when it comes to doing the grounds, and having visited Carlisle and Barrow, Workington would complete Cumbria for me, above county level.

medwaysider, We the club team/management stayed overnight in Whitehaven, south of Workington. Whitehaven, apart from our hotel and few small shops and a petrol station, nothing else there. Workington, when we arrived next morning, such a depressing town and the ground which is very old school. But very friendly people I have to say. Lets say I wouldn't go there for a holiday or for anything else.

Today saw the last qualifying round of the FA Trophy with the draw on Monday afternoon for the 1st Round Proper which marks our entrance in the competition this season. A shame last years final was played behind closed doors.

The fact they have the cheek to charge £18 on the gate for an FA Trophy 1st round game they should be close to affording Messi’s wages. Even the £15 discounted rate is way too high

Luke Coulson has signed for us from Ebbsfleet. Of all the transfer activity this season, with so many duds, this is an excellent signing. He's a quality player for this level. I love this quote too, "I’ve been told all about where the Club wants to be in the next few years, and that’s a huge reason why I’ve bought into it."

Don't forget the gate receipts get split. We're going to benefit from it too. It's crappy for individual fans but at least both clubs benefit, unlike league games like Dagenham or Leyton where we pay even more than that and our club gets none of it.
