The bookmakers make Orient favourites but they have 5 games still to play against the top 7 and finish with Sutton away, Harrogate home, Solihull away and Braintree at home. They won't win the league.
Solihull only have Salford away and Orient at home to play out of the top 7. I think they will win the league if they can keep 11 players on the pitch!
Salford have Sutton, Solihull and Fylde at home and Harrogate away.
Wrexham have Orient away and Sutton and Harrogate at home
Fylde have Orient away and Salford away
Harrogate have Salford at home and Orient and Wrexham away
Sutton have Salford and Wrexham away and Orient at home
So take your pick. I'll go for Solihull although Fylde also have a great chance. Well actually all the clubs do obviously but I think Orient have the toughest run in.

I'm not sure run ins have too much relevance in this league. Anyone can, and does, beat anyone. Braintree beat salford on Sat, and ask anyone who has supported Sutton for awhile which games they are fearing, it will be undoubtedly Braintree at home, and of course the maids. I'm genuinely considering a sizeable bet on us losing to Braintree just to ease the pain if we do lose, yet again, to the bottom side at home on a Tuesday.
We are in the mix. I don't think we will win and I don't expect us to improve our playoff hoodoo (I think we will make them though - again exceeding expectation by a distance). Salford orient or wrexham will, I expect come good, they have deeper squads than the rest which will be the difference. That said, fylde or solihull are definitely contenders and there's very little in it. All I know for sure is it won't be pretty and it will be a scrap!

I found this comment on the NL forum, I thought it was worth sharing. Forum linkJaredSUFC said: We’re currently 6 points off of top with a game in hand on every team above us. And to think we haven’t played particularly well this season. Crazy Reply..... From what I saw of you on Saturday, your team has that experience, solidity and pragmatism that enables you to gain points without being dazzling. The mark of a good team. You're much less of a footballing team than the likes of Salford, Fylde or Harrogate but they give much more away than you do. Once Deacon is up to speed, you will be offering more in attack. Definitely dark horses for the title IMO

Keep an eye on the Aldershot -Solihull match tonight. We need Aldershot to slow them up.

Slow up or show up? Seems they did neither Most of their fans think they're down and to be honest their remaining fixtures look tough. They may actually finish bottom given the run they're having. I think they have Braintree in a couple of weeks. Get nothing out of that and I reckon they're down.

Not looking good for Aldershot at present but they have kept faith with their manager which is rare with teams in this position.

Aldershot's away form is shocking! 1 win all season (at Eastleigh in October) and 6 points on the road out of a possible 45.

Feel for the Shots a bit but they do look in dire straits really - no win in 17 in any comp (stretching back to 3rd November). Granted we never get anything there but if they do go down I’ll miss going to the Rec as an away day.

I too will miss the complete lack of toilet facilities for away fans... And I won't miss the dark walk through the Hampshire rainforest where you need abseiling gear just to get to the turnstile

The predicted final table on Football Web Pages, which I have usually found to be surprisingly accurate, has Orient as champions by 4 points and us finishing 6th on 85 points.

However will their ground pass L2 grading?

You see Orient seem to have the "hardest" run in, but also that's an opportunity to take the initiative in the same way we won the South title - played both our closest competitors in the last month of the season and not only got results for us, but did them damage too. Orient could do the same playing all of the other title chasers. Their title really is in their own hands.
I'm still not wavering from them winning the league, perhaps at our place on April 13th.
