You see Orient seem to have the "hardest" run in, but also that's an opportunity to take the initiative in the same way we won the South title - played both our closest competitors in the last month of the season and not only got results for us, but did them damage too. Orient could do the same playing all of the other title chasers. Their title really is in their own hands. I'm still not wavering from them winning the league, perhaps at our place on April 13th. Well if they do win it from here they will deserve it. I just think it's a tough ask for them especially as their form is patchy at the moment. I just think that they will drop points and, for instance, if they lose against Fylde and Solihull then it will be unlikely that they'll win the league. All ifs and buts however it does make for the most exciting title race in years

Another factor might be that Fylde, Orient and Solihull are all still in the FA Trophy. Getting to the two-legged semi-final would create a bit of fixture congestion during their run-in. I suspect that Solihull (home to Telford in the quarter-final) will be the one to suffer most from this, and winning the Trophy for them might be more of a target than winning the league. The opposite will be true of Orient, and don't be surprised if they field a weakened side in the Trophy at Brackley!

Been staring at the table for 5 minutes and still can't make up my mind. On balance, Orient, I think. Very exciting league!
Shots are down, though. That much feels sure.

If i was to put a wager on right now my money would go on Solihull Moors. No other team showing any real consistency apart from us of course !

With all the ‘catch-up’ games to be played by the top contenders as well as cup games I believe that Sutton can achieve either 3rd or 4th place in the final table owing to the stress that these other clubs are under. And I don’t think that Orient will be top, they will ‘lose it’ in the final run up.

Irn Bru Cup potentiality for next season? If so can’t wait to play Caley Thistle or Ross County.

Given we did go through it all last year presumably the same plan will be implemented in the event of promotion.

I too will miss the complete lack of toilet facilities for away fans... And I won't miss the dark walk through the Hampshire rainforest where you need abseiling gear just to get to the turnstile It's not a stadium without its' faults, that's for sure, but personally I really like their ground. It's unique and you can't say that about too many stadia these days. I'd take it any day over The Hive, which seems to have won rave reviews from the travelling support on here, but to me it's just a bland, soulless new ground with no decent pubs anywhere close and everything I dislike about modern football. That's probably not an opinion that the majority would share, but to each their own.

My understanding is that the primary motivation behind last year's decision to double the number of shares in the club was to bankroll the required ground alterations in the event of promotion being secured, so a contingency plan is very much in place.
