Not sure what highlights BT showed of this match, but it was total mayhem for about 10mins at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.
A foul on the far side, saw the Solihull player go down like he had been shot, a melee ensued, for which 2 players saw red cards, and 1 Solihull player went down holding his face after, wait for it being pushed by his own player.
When the match did restart, the Ebbsfleet captain decided he would go down like sack of spuds, but instead of a pen he got his second yellow. What I have not seen in the reports is he doesn't leave the feild but returns to head butt a Solihull player 1st. He could be looking at a 4 match ban?
The final Red, was a nice stamp on the back of the leg which was 2 foot from the lino who gave a goal kick, when quized by the ref it ended up being a straight red for the Solihull player.

Yep saw that. You sum the incidents up well OS. Both sides will be fined by the FA and the players will get their usual bans. The Solihull 7 should get a ban as well. That was disgusting play acting. No place in the game for it. Gee it was his own player that brushed against him. Shocking!

Just watched it. From a neutral's point of view, hilarious.
Rance made a meal of minimal contact and maybe a second yellow was harsh but can see why ref showed it. Storer was an arsehole though following Rance pointing as if he was the ref and telling him to get off. Ref did nothing about that and as a result Rance went back and the headbutt followed. Storer did get booked but the ref could have prevented that.
Think Rance could be in trouble but Storer will get away with it following the yellow.
In the original incident, Osborne really needs to be cited for his reaction to being nudged by his own player but Rance did not help matters by getting involved with the player on the ground.
Some dreadful, infantile stuff from both teams and not handled too well by the ref, although not easy for him either.

Id say they were the two teams who were the most partial to cheating, out of the sides Ive watched this season. Ebbsfleet's players seem to have been asked to drop at every contact since their previous manager left, they certainly weren't doing that back in late summer. Solihull seemed happy to do anything it takes to get the points, whether that was stealing 10 yards on every throw or being overly physical. Unfortunately this league brings out alot of this kind of thing as its so damn tight and physical. THe means justify the ends, to some extent, but its not much fun to watch week in week out as the flair players just arent as effective.
