The Scottish Premiership players have told the SPFA that they want artificial pitches banned and have allegedly had a 100% feedback from their members agreeing, but they didn’t canvass the three clubs that already play on 3G nor did they disclose any figures re playera asked. I have never read such contradictory comments or such rubbish as excuses for not wanting something, the poor dears can’t have enough things to spend their money on so have to moan about something.

Out of interest, which 3 SPL clubs play on artificial pitches? If they were being honest, they'd admit that they're sub-standard players in a Mickey Mouse league where the punters only care about a couple of clubs and the rest are there to make up the numbers (including Hibs, too skint for Parkhead, and Hearts, too skint for Ibrox).

It takes such a ridiculously long time to convince anyone in this country about technological advances. Think of the Scottish weather and the state of their pitches as a result of that yet still any progressive action is derided.

The 3G debate rages on. All I will say is the sport of rugby. They play on 3G. Enough said.

In my humble opinion these pitches are the greatest invention since Penicillin.I only wish i could have played on one.The early/prototype ones were great but had that massive bounce.
If you can't play football on these surfaces you should pack it in.

I wouldn't say the early ones were great. If you mean Reading, QPR and Luton Towns' pitches that is. They were awful. Is there also going to be another apostrophe debate now?

It does give a new meaning to laying down the rubber, have a look at Paul's latest photos.

What happens when their players have to play World Cup qualifiers on 3G pitches? Thinking about it that really doesn't make any difference for Scotland.
