What exactly are the rules to play for the Met Police? Any rules whereby a player would have to be part of the Met Police were relaxed years ago. Now a club like any other.

The clubhouse looks good but why would you put a building like that behind one of the goals ? It would prohibit any sort of terrace in the future.

Well the team I believe is funded by Met Police staff who contribute to the Met Police Athletics Association from their salary.
Now I can't remember if this is a compulsory deduction from their salary or not but it pays for the Met Police sports clubs one of which is Imber Court (where Met Police play), they have The Warren in West Wickham and I think there is one in Bushey and also one in Chigwell.
So basically it is paid for by Met Police staff but they obviously get paid from public funds.
How do I know this? My old man was in the Met however he retired some 11 years ago so things might have changed since then like they have in regards to the eligibility to play for them.

In the super play-off finals the away teams each won 3-2 after extra time, Tonbridge triumphing at Met Police and King's Lynn at Warrington.
Congrats to Mr McKimm!

Woking bounce straight back up to our level after beating Welling 1-0.
In the North, Chorley v Spennymoor has gone to extra time. 0-0.

Shame, I like welling as a club and was looking forward to visiting park view next season as it's easy journey for me. Can't say any of those things for Woking....
