Constructive as always. Well done you. Some of us have doubled our shareholdings in the club and wholeheartedly supported the club's fundraising efforts. Others have persistently attacked the manager, the players, the fans and the users of this forum. Yet again, thank you for conclusively confirming which side you stand with. I wish I could be more like you, you are an absolute hero. My god we are so lucky and privileged to have you supporting this club. I’m not sure if I remember you from setting up the Supporters Trust or the summer down the club helping with its up keep. Especially when Dos asked for the fans to get behind this club and help make it look less tired. However you must have been there because you are a legend. Hopefully they are preparing your place in the hall of fame because you purchased a couple of shares.

Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit.
Again, well done you.

PS. Apropos is derived from French i.e. a propos. Ignoramus. Lovely, popped on to throw a couple of insults about. If you don’t like what Dave has to say, ignore it, if you just want to throw insults around, find somewhere else, not here. Thank you Nick. I may have disagreed with what people have said but I'm not sure I've actually been abusive to anyone.

As I tried to point out there are many people prepared to help with club funds. I just think that this is too expensive for the average supporter. If you don't understand what I'm saying using PLAIN ENGLISH then I don't know how else to express myself.

I will continue to wholeheartedly support the Amber 500 scheme and other fundraising initiatives whether you and your cronies like it or not. Get over it.

Can you guys take this conversation into direct messages between the two of you. I imagine virtually all of the members who view this thread don't care for what is proving to be a personal spat rather than any form of debate.
Cheers.

To reiterate, it costs just £25.00 to participate in the Amber 500 initiative and have the opportunity to share in one of the excellent prizes on offer.
If people don't want to participate in a scheme expressly designed to increase the club's prospects of success this season then that's up to them.
I would however respectfully request that those who have chosen not to contribute kindly refrain from attacking and ridiculing those who have decided to put hand in pocket. It is not constructive and only serves to dissuade others from following suit.
Onwards and upwards.

On the evidence of this thread it is you who started with the ridiculing, in response to what was actually a reasonable post from Davethegrave

I don't know davethegrave but i salute him for his impeccable behaviour in the face of at least two very nasty comments.

First we had gandermonium, now we have gammon moaning scum. Give it a rest mate. Everyone supports the club financially as much as they can afford, if that means you can afford to purchase shares and Amber 500 tickets then excellent, if that means Dave can only afford to buy a season ticket and a drink and pie at each home match then excellent too. All he was saying is some of the fundraising schemes (buying shares, Amber 500, Strikers are Key) are potentially too expensive for the average supporter who might have limited funds. You are making yourself look a right tit.

Not interested in getting involved in this dispute. But BILLY - I had to comment on you posting this video of Bill Shankly. What a chap he was. He spoke with such simplicity and passion. Jock Stein and Brain Clough were others in the same mould. Where are the modern day Shankly’s and Clough’s?
