We start a run of 6 crucial games with the visit of Halifax Town. We need 9 points from those games to coincide with 25 points half way through our season. The target has to be 50 to avoid the drop and bear in mind Halifax's drubbing on Saturday will they be demoralised or determined to bounce back. I'm hoping our injury situation isn't too bad because this game is well winnable !

Our next six games, assuming Fylde away is rearranged for a date in November, are Halifax H, Barrow A, Torquay A, AFC Fylde A, Bromley H, Dagenham & R A. Not easy to see where nine points are coming from in that run!
Tomorrow's game actually looks about the most winnable of the bunch. Halifax topped the table earlier this season but have lost their last three.

Any match predictions out there ? I for one cannot see us keeping a clean sheet at the moment but hopefully we will limit them to one whilst knocking a couple in ourselves , so 2-1 to us please please please !

I'll be hoping to see a centre-back pairing that has one attacking the ball, not 2 sweepers; a Sutton midfield player who commands the centre circle; and a goalkeeper who commands his 6 yard box and does not give the ball away with long punts into touch or to our opponents. With all those I expect us to win, without any of them we will struggle to draw.

Ben D in goal and we win 3-2, if not 3-1. How’s that for a prediction?

The second installment of this home double-header and after losing so agonisingly on Saturday I hope we can lift ourselves to go again tonight and yield a positive result. Indeed Halifax come to us off a 5-0 drubbing so will be hurting themselves.
As others have mentioned on other threads - I think it’s time for Dudzinski to don the keepers jersey - Butlers been suspect of late so why not give the other lad a go. Hopefully Goodliffe is fit for this evenings game after hobbling off on Saturday - we aren’t blessed with many Centre-back options at present.

I know it's a long shot as there are so many options but would anyone care to guess what colour Jamie Butler's matching ensemble will be tonight ? Ido so hope it won't be the grey outfit as it's already a dull winter's day to start with.

I don’t know what upset me more tonight - the performance on the pitch or the behaviour of some of our fans.
Aside from people’s opinions about MG, which people are quite entitled to have, the rubbish spewing from the mouths of grown men was frankly appalling. Directed at anyone and everyone they felt deserved it. I felt sorry for the kids with some of them.
The only upside to a relegation is that these idiots will hopefully stop coming to support our club. A bit of decorum in the face of adversity is apparently beyond this minority, and it’s horrible to listen to when we’re a club that prides ourselves in being inclusive and family friendly.

No end product, Mat grey out... Might not be economically viable. Matt Gray might leave but he is on a contract and that would mean less money to get in a successor. Conference South might be Sutton's level. It has been a good ride up until now and there is the possibility of a return.

I am sorry but if teams such as Maidenhead and Bromley can play at National level, I don't buy that. Our problem is poor defending and and abysmal shooting, yes a tad of hard luck too, but as they say you make your own luck.
