I mentioned in another thread that maybe we are "too nice". Many of our opponents have somebody who are out to kick their opponents off the park.
It set me wondering though have we ever really had someone playing for us who was in that mould? True we've had a few who can look after themselves and give it back but I can't recall any real thugs in our lineups.

Roy Keane would have done the job nicely . Met him once , definitely not as nice as he appears on Sky Sports .

Mark Golley was hard as nails but those of you of certain age would remember Keith Waldon he was the one who sorted out any opposition giving our forwards grief

I remember Keith. His brother in law was another Sutton full back ,Kenny Grose. The Waldon's lived at the bottom end of Love Lane.We used to play football on the green that divides that road with those two,Alec Waldon and quite a few more.
Keith left Millwall after sustaining a bad leg injury.
