I got the impression Matt was happy with a point from each of our last two away games. Hopefully he will only be happy with three this Saturday!

Should be a interesting afternoon.
Ebbsfleet have started to pick up in the last few games.
I’m not there (have to work)!

Our other three surviving league fixtures in February are against sides in the top five, so a game against the second-bottom club ought to be the easiest. But, as we know, football is rarely that straightforward.
As Sol indicates, Ebbsfleet will have taken heart from their last two results, a goalless draw at Torquay followed by Tuesday's 2-1 home win over Woking. But it was only four weeks ago that they got hammered 7-0 at Barrow.
My recommended pub is the Theee Daws in Gravesend (7 Town Pier DA11 0BJ). A rambling, weatherboarded former hotel dating back to the 15th century, it overlooks the Thames and pier. Expect beers and food sourced in the county of Kent. Less than half a mile from Gravesend station and about 2.5 miles from Ebbsfleet's ground in neighbouring Northfleet. 'Daw' is an ancient word for a crow.

...and 'theee' is an antique word for '3'.

Welcome Callum Kealy. Another gun, but it is the lack of bullets that has led to three consecutive blanks. We have four analysts on the staff, but their work is never mentioned in the programme or to SUTV cameras. It would be interesting to hear what they made of the service to the existing strikers in the last 3 matches.

Here is a comment from the Worthing forum:
I have to say I think this could be a big blow to our promotion run. I echo the sentiment that of course we can't ever stand in the way of a player wishing to progress his career and I wish Callum every success. However, notwithstanding all that I'm a Worthing fan, and no-one else does what Callum does for us. If any of Ollie, Reece or Lloyd gets crocked, we're now light on proven options up front.
He brings a strong physical presence that, bless 'em, Meeky and Ollie don't have. Lloyd has a bit more of it but not much.
He brings 'stickability', the ball goes up to him and far more often than not he keeps it and recycles it.
He never stands still, pulling centre backs all over the place and making himself available.
It'll be a surprise to his detractors, of which there are many, that a higher league club would be interested in him, but not to me. He is/was our best forward and if we need strength and presence over pace and trickery we now don't have it.
He joins David of course who has scored 5 in 38 games according to their website. They must be happy with him to come sniffing round Woodside Road again.
Good luck Callum, don't be a stranger. A 'dual contract' doesn't close the door to turning out for us but such a deal is bound to favour the higher league club.

I take it barnsley did not make an offer for goodliffe then. Good news for us in the short term of course, but really Hope we don't lose him for nothing in the summer.
Would be happy with a point today.

Good point that. Much more useful for us than fleet. Reckon 6 more will do it and Sol pal draws are fine at this stage. Can't win em all

Poor game played in difficult conditions, with a swirling wind and a pitch that didn't look as if it had been mown since 2019.
Each side was better playing into the wind. We went behind to a pretty dreadful goal, Nik Tzanev coming for but failing to claim a free kick. We improved after the break, Harry heading the equaliser from David A's cross.
Ebbsfleet looked like a struggling side, though their centre back Obileye had a good game, winning almost everything in the air.
The point takes us up a place to 14th. Another ten points should see us safe.

Awful first half from us. Possibly the worst I've seen all season. Better 2nd half and could quite easily have taken all 3 points if it wasnt for their no5 who had a fantastic game at the back.
Least it's our first league goal since New Years Day!

There have been so many drawn games where 1 point disappears that 48 points should be enough this season if 4 go down: perhaps 46 would be enough if only 3 teams are relegated.

I echo the sentiments above. Very poor first half in which our midfield was non existent.Much better in the second period when our desire seemed greater.Well placed header from Harry for our equaliser though clear cut chances were few and far between. 3rd match without Eastmond and another draw !
