Link to offer > gb.setanta.tv/freeview.htmDoes anyone have one of the Setanta flyers lying around that were given out on Saturday? I think the ad was in yesterday's NLP as well I think today was the last day you could register for their introductory offer. If you've got one handy, can you please post their phone number for Freeview customers on here? Cheers!!

I've got the NLP at home - advert was on back cover (or at least it was on the Northern printed edition).

What was the offer? How much per month? If you can let me know this I can see if I can find a link or telephone number for that offer.

It was £5 a month.
The "Internet offer" on their website is £10 a month

I looked into this last night having seen the advert on the back of the NLP. However, you need to have a freeview Top Up TV box which has a slot for the top up tv card. If you dont have one of these you need to buy one, with the cheapest being about £70.
Obviously you then need to pay £9.99 a month for the top up TV and then £5 a month for the Setanta channel (£10.99 if you dont get the special offer).
I just have a normal freeview box and was only interested in getting the Setanta channel on the side. I dont want to have to fork out 70 quid for a new box, £9.99 a month for channels I probably wont watch and then another £5 a month for Setanta.

I already subscribe to it for the US golf coverage. If you're with Virgin (old Telewest) I would give them a call. I've reduced my bill by £10 a month and added Setanta.

Anyone laugh out loud when they read the site and it's talking about 'FreeView' , yet you need an 80 quid decoder and pay them a tenner a month to get it.
I know Setanta is an Irish channel, but that's ridiculous! ;D
I certainly won't be bothering.....
