Thanks JR . no one wants to put out a bad video. The guys now know they need post it notes to remind them.of x y or z when they are live. Tests have been carried every night since. Kit and better faster laptops are being begged and borrowed from wherever possible. If you get a chance. Check out James Board's test last night. It went really well. And Toms off air remote interview that went live this morning. Last Sunday may of been a week too early. But everyone is keen to keep that flag flying and bring new content as best as possible. Totally agree. It's a great effort by the guys and I'm sure everyone appreciates everything that they do. I'm glad the gremlins have been sorted and look forward to the next one.

JR. Hope you’re well. I don’t usually get involved in these kind of back and forths because they don’t do anyone any good. However, your comments were below the belt. The chaps SuttonUnitedFCtv are all volunteers and some are young chaps trying to find their feet in a media world that can be both ruthless and unrewarding (financially). A test was probably the right way to go but to blast them for trying, come on. ‘He who never fails has never lived’. (Gary Lineker was rigorously trained by the BBC machine for 5/6 years before he even got a look in @motd. If you manage to listen back to his debut on BBC FIVE LIVE in 1995/96 - you might reconsider your message). Apologies Sol. I just took exception to OS's comment "no point in having dress rehearsals". I just feel it would have been wise to check that everything works before going live. Ok, so perhaps using the pros was a bad example but you still practice speeches/presentations etc. As I say it was meant to be constructive criticism as I fully support SUFCTV and think they're doing an excellent job. JR. Appreciate the supportive reply. I get a wee bit big brother with SUFCtv - honestly what some of those chaps do for the love of SU is truly amazing. Filming on top of stands with no protection and the rain lashing down or travelling to Halifax on your own (only getting asked @13:00 on the day of the game if they can commentate) and then hitching a lift home from club secretary (Ray) and then getting the night bus home from Morden to Brixton for a packet of custard creams. Big love JR and thanks again for the support.

Well JR perhaps SUFCtv were keeping you from the pub or going to the cinema etc, Ahmed thought he had it already to go live, unfortunately despite earlier tests, some aspects did not work on the live broadcast. Remember that this has never been done before and we have young people who are learning as they go. James did a test last night which ran perfectly from his home and Tom M is also due to try it. I remember our 1st attempt at filming a match, it was terrible compared to today's SUFCtv standards. The one thing you can rely on is that the lads at SUFCtv learn quick

Well to all that have contributed to this , missed the first one but I have just watched James Boards test run with various videos one word BRILLIANT I had almost forgotten the Saturday afternoon football feeling Thanks keep it up If I wanted to get involved were do I send comments If anyone wants to get involved just email : sufctv@suttonunited.net After 3 initial live events, as promised the lads learn quick and most of the initial issues have now been sorted, as can be seen from Ahmed's excellent insight into the Sutton United women's team in the above video, and interview (live) with Duncan Muller head coach.
