Doesn’t suspend indefinitely mean something different to it being ‘all over’?

The implication is pretty clear. The only circumstance in which I can see the season being completed is if 20/21 can't start this calendar year and the end of 19/20 is completed in 2021. But that looks a very long shot.

I read it differently. To me it looks like they don’t want to void the season or at least are still exploring options and looking at the legal position.

On the BBC website there's a picture of Louis.
Also in Yesterday's Mail there was a picture of the boys after they'd beaten Coventry in an article about the future of the FA Cup.

Yeah. It's just moved the suspension from 'at least until 3rd April' until 'who knows when?'. So, it's not over, as in ended. We're still in a temporary status.
They just don't know what to do. Bit of a non-decision, really.

WOW! That's like Micheal Gove, they speak but say nothing at all - All we know is that the season has been suspended beyond April 3rd which is what we knew this morning!!!
The National League does not have the balls to make a call, they will wait for the EFL / FA to make the decision for them so they can blame everyone else.

Assuming that the NL are waiting to follow the EFL/FA lead (and I'd guess that they are) I would also assume that whatever happens above us will be the same thing that happens to us (in our league).

Yep! Promotion / relegation sorted for NL without having to make any decision

Don't think it's anything to do with having the balls to be honest, more just an admission that this could go on indefinitely and as such, they can't see when football will resume. Let's face it, all any of us are doing is guessing.

And the Barrow Fans' Forum remains collectively unimpressed. Can't really blame them.
Good read, that forum, regarding all of this. Some very acute observations. Obviously they're giving the whole thing some very serious thought.

Important to realise that the indefinite suspension doesn't necessarily mean that the season is being voided or written off. The wording at the end of the statement about "how best to conclude the season" tells us that the NL wants the ~80% of games that have been played to count towards something. If the remaining games can't be played then this points to working out an end-of-season position based on the played matches.
