Wouldn't be at all surprised if Tommy joined Havant given Dos connection and locality.

Good Luck to Tommy in here ever he goes next, a player who has never let us down and produced some magic moments.
I am surprised the club allowed a major asset like Tommy to get out of contract??

You can't force anyone to sign a new contract and he was out injured for a year, so we couldn't sell him. We will apparently be entitled to a fee from whoever signs him (let's hope it's someone rich )

Can anyone recall the other players that are not on contract?

Just been listening to Dos do a interview on the hawks tv saying there is two big signings coming, so it looks like Tommy Wright is going to haven’t “no surprise there then” . As I’ve said be for good luck to him and good luck to the Special one in the playoffs...

Not that it effects us directly but if Tommy for Havant (if he does) and Alfie Rutherford for Dorking are allowed to play in the play offs for their new clubs, why should that be?
They were both contracted to other clubs for the 2019/20 season and that is what these play offs are part of.
I know contracts ended in May but I still don't see why they should be allowed to play in what is the conclusion of last season. Makes a complete mockery of it all.

I think Dos said the new signings would not be announced until after the playoffs. Suggesting they can’t play this season.

I can see the obvious logic in Tommy joining Havant, if he does. But I don't think he needs to be dropping a level at this stage of his career.

The important thing for him though is to get through the troubles he has at the moment and playing close to home and under someone he trusts I'm sure will help. I have no doubt that Tommy will play in the EFL or higher at some stage.
