might have to start thinking of renewing the season ticket then.
I haven't bothered yet as with no dates in place I couldn't see the point.

Just to temper this with a little reality, there's a lot more needs to happen before we can actually contemplate a viable return to league action. Fingers crossed everything is moving in the right direction.

So a congratulations to Barrow who were awarded Champions yesterday. We welcome Kings Lynn and Wealdstone into the league next season. Subject to government approval the play-offs will take place across all three divisions.

The best of luck to Matt for next season. He has done a great job guiding Sutton to a safe finish in the first season post Dos. Another difficult season ahead - for all kinds of reasons.

The FA have ratified the National League decision. This means officially Barrow, Kings Lynn and Wealdstone are promoted and Chorley, Ebbsfleet and Fylde are relegated.

I've seen a prediction from Ollie Bayliss that the new season will start on Saturday 19 September. That wasn't based on any inside information, it just looked the most likely date on the basis of the announcements that have been made.

Just to re-iterate that no discussions about a start date have been held with clubs, and you'd like to think we would be involved in making the decision. Everyone seemed to agree that we will need fans in stadiums to start playing. England v Wales at Wembley on 8th October will be without spectators.

There was a tweet yesterday I think from one of the Hemel directors suggesting 12th Sept. I think we're going to get a lot of speculation in the coming weeks.

Whilst the game at Wembley has initially been announced as behind closed doors, the announcement on the FAW is open to possibility that it could change (I hope it does, I have leave then and the thought of Dai Brooks tearing England apart is exciting). We can’t really plan that far ahead.

Just to temper this with a little reality, there's a lot more needs to happen before we can actually contemplate a viable return to league action. Fingers crossed everything is moving in the right direction. The Govt. seems anxious, now, to get more people out and doing in order to revitalise the economy. That being the case I can see how some kind of fudge, advisory, 'do your best' guidelines (sic) might be forthcoming to permit fans into football stadiums. What seems more difficult, at our level, is mitigating the potential of virus spread among the actual players. It's not like we can create some kind of bio-bubble for them.
