Will Mr Rains be in line for the job or has that moment passed?

And AFCW missed an open goal with the last kick of the game! My life has a habbit of kicking you up the arse! I had my money on the goal coming from a bad back pass from that Darlington geezer in the last minute, I hope it was him that missed the sitter ;D

Well I'm disappointed for them, I would certainly rather AFC than Bromley.
There seems to be a lot of bitterness towards AFC that I really can't understand.

I'm actually surprised no one is moaning yet about the gate money we've 'lost' with them not coming up!!

It's true though Taz. The gate money would've come in extremely handy given that our Cup/Trophy prize-winnings over the last couple of years have been pretty much non-existent.
Anyway, tonight's results:
Stortford 1 Salisbury 1 Havant 1 Braintree 1

Go on then, I'll bite Gate of 2,500 equals an income pre-VAT of around £15,000. Using similar logic, although I used to live in Hampton and wanted them to win the league for football reasons, it would be better for us if AFC had come up with Bromley and Crawley had been relegated from the Conference. What's also true about non-League football is that when an area has several teams playing at a high level it seems to lift the standard all of of those teams. It was true in the past in Cheshire, Middlesex and Surrey and it's happening now in Essex.
